Sorry about the late post, things have been a little hectic.

I set my plate down on the nearby coffee table and rub my stomach and satisfaction.

Benedict chuckles as he takes his last bite of the delicious French toast. "Glad you enjoyed it."

He then leans over and picks up the remote and turns on Netflix.

"What are we planning on watching?" I ask, readjusting myself on the couch.

"What do you feel like watching?" He stops scanning the genres to look at me.

My brain seems to stop working as I can't think of a suitable movie for the both of us. I didn't want to pick something too childish, like I usually do, and I didn't want to pick something that Benedict would most likely never watch in his spare time. So, I end up shrugging, directing my stare to the screen.

"Well, I guess we're stumped." He laughs lightly as he scrolls through the list of films.

Suddenly I see the Breakfast Club pass by, "What about that one?" I say, looking back at Benedict.

He nods, "A classic." He smiles at me and clicks play and the movie starts.

He then leans back against the couch with one arm resting up on the cushion. I sit on the other side of the couch and look at the space between us. I was unsure if I should make the first move or not so I just stayed put, frozen in my position.
Benedict seemed to notice my internal conflict as he patted the spot next to him, inviting me to come sit by his side.
I scooched over and after I got comfortable, he put his arm around me. My cheeks burned and Benedict could probably see the bright red colour forming on them even though the lights were dimmed.

As the movie went on, I became more comfortable in this foreign situation. I made a bold move (at least for me) and rested my head on his shoulder. Benedict didn't seem to mind as he pulled me in closer.

The movie came to an end and, the infamous freeze-in-the-air-mid-jump scene cued it's finish.

I tilt my head upward and see Benedict already looking at me. He smiles and I tuck my hair behind my ear, I sit more upright to face him better.

"Did you enjoy the movie?" He asks as he stretches his arms out in front of him.

I nod, "I've always loved older movies like these. Sixteen Candles is a good one too." I grin, playing back the events in one of my favourite movies.

"Oh yeah, I'm pretty sure I've seen that once or twice." He smiles and looks down at me. The lights were still dimmed and we just kind of stared at each other intently. I couldn't tell if it was comfortable silence or awkward silence. His facial expression was so unreadable, like, was it a lets-make-out kind of look or a wanna-watch-another-movie kind of look?
