I look down the road until Benedict's jeep disappears. I turn around and smile at the ground. This new feeling I had in the pit of my stomach was like none other. It was the type of sensation that couldn't be described to the people who have never felt it. You feel it in the pit of your stomach, your chest, throat and when you see that person it's like... Someone just throws you up in the air and you float there, never knowing when you're going to come down.
I turn into the pathway that leads to my house and look up towards the porch to see Daniel waiting for me patiently, siting on the steps with lemonades in hand.
Oh shit. Did he just see that I was driven here, not walked. Oh no, did he see who was in the jeep?
He looks up from his phone and says, "Who was that?"
"Huh?" I try to act non-chalant but my eyes widen.
He stands up and hands me my blue raspberry lemonade. "The one driving the jeep that you just hopped out of." He gestures towards the direction Benedict just drove off in.
"Oh... uhm," I look the direction to the direction he pointed and look back at him.
He narrows his eyes at me. "A boy?" I fiddle with my hands nervously and just stare at him. Daniel sighs, "Obviously you don't want to tell me. I'm guessing this is the mysterious boy from last night. He can be you're little secret... For now." He winks and turns on his heel and waits for me to open the door.
For the rest of the day we ate and laughed. Overall the day wasn't horrible and the feeling from before never left.

I pull on some dark skinny jeans and and put on a forest green pullover sweater. It was a simple outfit but it was Monday. It was still cute though, and these jeans made my butt look great.
I straighten my long curls and throw it up in a loose high-ponytail. I pull out some strands from the sides to frame my face. I apply mascara and leave it at that. My skin has been really nice lately so I decided to just keep on keeping my makeup light like usual. I spritz on some perfume and apply a tinted Chapstick.
I hop down the stairs and head into the kitchen. "Hello?" I call through the house and nobody answers. I guess my parents have already headed out. I shrug and grab a green apple and my bag. I shove my phone in my pocket and head out.
Benedict and I have been talking over text. Just the simple stuff like, how was your day? And, what are you doing? Etc, etc.
I was kind of nervous to see him again today. The last time I saw him, he had his hand on my boob and then I got him to rush me home quickly. Although, it was probably for the best. Who knows what would've happened if Daniel hadn't interrupted.
