Chapter 2

Unknown POV

I'm am running as fast as I can but Tasha is faster than me. I'm trying my best and then all of a sudden... I trip.

Tasha comes up behind me and attempts to grab me but I pull out my mace and she falls to the floor. Mace comes in handy.

I get up and walk other to the end of the bridge once again. I text Tasha and say

" Gotcha Asshole" and I took a picture of her screaming on the ground. Ok so now I'm ready to jump. I pull out a piece of paper and write " Mom and dad this is not your fault.... I love you. " I stick the paper between the crack in the bridge and I grab onto the side of the bridge. I pull both of my legs up.

Then all of the sudden.. I feel big hands grab me and pull me back over. I turn around as quick as lighting and I see a finneeeeeeeee boy. He says..

" Hello." I have no words, this boy is lightskin with  dimples, a earring and HIS smile. Dannnnngggg boy. Even thought I prefer my men chocolate but ya know its whatever

" Hello" I say. " who are you?"

" Well My name is Cameron and I just saw you trying to jump so I got out the car and tried to save you.. babygirl, you are too cute to jump." DID HE JUST CALL ME CUTE. omgg

" I..i... lets get out of here before the girl on the ground over there gets up. " I say fast.

" Ok sure, would you like a ride home?" He says

" I don't have a home, that's part of the reason I was gonna jump." I say so sadly.

" Ok you can come to my house." He says. With his cute smile.

" Uh...uh.. Okay." I say nervous. We get in the car and it is silent until he breaks it ..

" Anyway what's your name?" Cameron says

" My name is Silice."

" Oh that's a cute name, its matches you." I cant help but to blush.

" So Silice you sure you wanna come to my house?" Cameron says

" Uh I guess." I say uncertainly

" Ok I live in an apartment, so make yourself at home."

"Ok" I say.

The rest of the ride is silent. We finally get to his house and We go inside. His apartment looks really nice. Its beautifully decorated and it smells so good.

" Nice apartment" I say

" Okay, so over here is where we eat, this is the kitchen, that's the living and the bathroom is down the hall to the right.... So come sit down and tell me about yourself Silice." He pats the part of the couch that is next to him signaling me to come sit down.

I sit down and begin talking..

" Name is Silice, and my house gotten burned down, along with my little brother and his babysitter. My dad lost his store and we are struggling now. So, I know you are probably wondering why I was at the bridge..So lets get into that.. So, I was at the end of the bridge about to jump, but I promised myself that I will tell my mom and dad that this is not their fault and I love them. So I type n this random number, I asked who is this and I tell them that I'm about to jump of a bridge and they start saying no don't jump and tell me where you are so I can come to you. They ask me what do I see we I look to the north and then I say a neon sign, then she starts telling me one of her secrets and she says do you promise you will never tell anyone and I was like yeah I promise. So she says that she and one of her friends went to Mr. and Mrs. Lee house and THEY was the ones to burn it down... but what she didn't know was that I was their daughter and she was talking to me.. and then I start asking questions and she says she didn't care and she felt bad afterwards.... I then I said .. YOU were the one to tore my family apart and she was lost for words.. and then she sees me at the end of the bridge. She starts running toward and I ran and tripped. I pull out my mace and spray her. So the girl that was on he ground was the girl that I was texting.. and all I wanted her to do was to tell my mom and dad that it wasn't their fault." I say out of breath

" I feel so bad for you, you can stay here as long as you want. " He says

I look at my knee and it is bleeding from when I tripped.

" Um do you have a knee bandage?" I asked

" Sure let me go get you one." He goes into his room and brings out a knee bandage. He pulls my leg up and carefully wraps the bandage around.

" Thanks, I really appreciate it." I say while smiling

" No problem, wanna watch a movie?"

" Sure what do you got." I say looking at the huge shelf of movies

" Wanna watch Love & basketball?" He says

" YAS, that's my movie." We both start laughing and he puts the movie in and comes and sits beside me. He gets and blanket for the both of us and I lay down and he lays behind me on the couch. He wraps his arm around me and we began watching until we both fall asleep.
