Draco left Hermione to her thoughts. She was sat down at the table where she was just sitting with Draco and Narcissa. Her mind was somewhere else. 'Narcissa isn't as bad as I thought she would be.. She's wonderful!' she thought.
"Hey Mione! You okay there? You seem a little.. Spaced out?" Pansy said as she, Ginny and Luna sat beside her. They all seemed amused by her expression.
"Y-yeah. Why wouldn't I be okay?" Hermione gave her a nervous laugh. She could tell that the others didn't believe her. She saw Pansy roll her eyes.
"Considering the fact that, Malfoy, just kissed your cheek and left you flustered. Also how Narcissa didn't give me a dirty look." Said Ginny.
"And, how she smiled at us before we came in." Luna said proudly.
"So what happened? Fill us in on ALL the details." Pansy said.
Hermione sighed. She knew that she wasn't going to win with these girls so she gave in. The next 10 minutes were spent with her telling her friends what had happened. Although she left out the part where Narcissa told her that she was joined with the Malfoy vault.
"That's so cute! It suits your eyes perfectly!" Luna picked up Hermione's hand and started staring at the ring she was given.
"It looks beautiful on you!" Exclaimed Ginny.
Hermione chuckled as the girls gawked at the ring. "Thanks guys. When Narcissa was about to leave, she gave me this." She pulled out a matte black card. It looked like the muggle bank/credit car but without the chip.
"No way! I heard their money never runs out! I don't know how that's possible but apparently it's true!" Said Luna. She was smiling.
"She said I could spend as much as I want on it. So it must be true." Said Hermione. She still felt guilty about having a joint account with them. The next few minutes were spent talking about what they wanted their dresses to look like. They all decided that they should probably do some shopping about now.
The girls walked for nearly 20 minutes to a new dress shop called, Gerda. It looked like a boutique. Ginny had heard a group of girls talking about it and decided they should check it out. When they walked in they were greeted by a young woman who looked 30.
"Hello! Welcome to Gerda, a fashion boutique to suit your dressy needs! We have every kind of dress from hen parties to wedding parties! How many in your party?" The woman had a Scottish accent. It wasn't a strong one, but a very welcoming one.
"Party of four, I'm Pansy, this is Luna, Ginny and Hermione." Pansy gestured her hand to each of us when she introduced herself.
"My name is Samantha Fleming, but you can call me Sam." She paused and smiled at us all. "May I know what kind of dress you are all looking for?"
"Kind of a classy but sexy dress. One that screams out 'I'm wild but sophisticated'." Ginny explained. She kind of spoke for all of us because that was the dress we all wanted.
"Perfect! I know which dress would be perfect for all of you? Are you looking for a price limit?" Asked Sam. She watched as all of us shook of us. Hermione still felt bad for using Draco's money but Narcissa said she could. "If you would all like to follow me into this room and I will get the dresses for each of you ready." She moved them into a large, white room. It had a beautiful chandelier hanging in the middle. At the end of the room, there was a podium and a whole wall of one mirror.
Samantha waved her wand multiple times, dress racks, changing rooms and a large sofa appeared in front of them. Soon, each dress rack had each of their names on it, along with a lot of dresses. Hermione's rack was filled with dresses of the colour green or black. Luna's colours were a coral pink or teal blue. Ginny's dresses were either a deep, elegant red or a strong purple. Pansy's dresses were coloured gold or white. The girls stared in astonishment. The dresses were beautiful. "Go ahead, pick out the ones you like best and put them on the empty rack beside the one with the dresses. Have fun!" She watched them all run up to the racks.
The girls started to pick out dresses, some were short and some were short. At least half an hour later, they all finished picking their selected dresses. Sam said they should go into the changing room one at a time. They all agreed to the idea. Luna was up first. She tried on 4 dresses before finding the right dress, it was a midnight blue dress. It was off shoulder and knee length. It suited her hair perfectly.
Pansy was next, after 6 dresses she wanted to give up. But the 7th dress was the one for her. It had a sweetheart neckline, the top half of the dress was covered with silver crystal's. The bottom half was, white, layered and puffy. The dress overall was short, it didn't reach her knees but was past the 'slag line'. While the rest of the girls were waiting for her o change they started talking. They found out that Sam was like them.
Ginny was second last. She picked a blood red dress. It was laced at the top and puffy at the bottom. The dress hugged her petite waist perfectly.
Last but not least, it was Hermione's turn. When she tried on the first dress she thought she looked pregnant, the second dress was described as 'itchy'. Third time lucky, she found that it fitted her well. It was silky and smooth, it looked like a skater dress but was much more sophisticated. The top half hugged her bust nicely, the waist fit perfectly and the bottom half stayed just above her knees. They all paid for their dresses and left. They told Sam to owl them from time to time.
They were all happy about their dresses. They just couldn't wait to wear them. 'I can't wait till Malfoy see's me in this!' Hermione thought to herself 'Did I really just think that I wanted to impress him? We did kiss quite a few times though..
(I have added a collage of the dresses I found for Hermione, Luna, Pansy and Ginny. Black - Hermione | Red - Ginny | Blue - Luna | White - Pansy)
