Forget Me Not (Dramione)

The sun started to rise, birds started to tweet and light poured into the room. Hermione hardly slept because of what happened last night. Draco couldn't sleep either, he regretted his actions. 

It was the day Draco and Hermione were leaving to go to Edinburgh. Hermione was the first to pack and get ready. She took a quick shower before packing. With a wave of her wand, her belongings started to pack themselves neatly into her trunk. As she looked around, Draco was still in bed. She took her trunk out into the common room and stayed there to read. They weren't due to leave until 10:00 AM.

Draco heard the door shut, he had just managed to fall asleep. "Damn!" He thought as he remembered what today was. Just like Hermione, he showered and packed.  A few minutes into packing he heard a knock on the door.

"Draco? Can I come in?" Asked Blaise. 

"Sure." Answered Draco. He didn't look up when the door opened.

"So what happened with Hermione? If you don't mind me asking.."

"I messed up. I thought of father, what would he think if he knew I was with her." Draco sat on his bed and held his head in his hands.

"Mate, he's gone now. You have to stop worrying about what he would think, because he's not worth it."

"I guess you're right, but how do I make it right with Hermione?"

"Say you're sorry for last night, tell her you'll make it up to her. Something along those lines." Blaise smiled and sat next to Draco.

Draco nodded and stood up. He waved his wand and things started to pack quickly. "Thanks for the talk, mate." 

"No problem, don't forget to bring us something from the place you're going. Edinburger is it?" 

Draco laughed, "Edinburgh." Blaise stood up and followed Draco out of his room.

It was five minutes to ten and the pair were saying goodbye to their "friends". When they went to the headmistress' office,  they saw that McGonagall was waiting for them. She shooed them to a fireplace. "You two will be travelling by floo powder, it will take you both straight to your new house. A few teachers and I will visit you a few times a week. If there is any trouble send your patronus. Message or no message I will get to you as soon as I can. When you get there you will be shown around by Amanda. I suspect you should have your timetables?" She paused and watched them nod. "Good, now don't forget, no magic in the high school or at least no one can see. I must warn you both, don't lose trust in each other. High school can be a tough place to be when you're Amanda's age."

"We understand Professor." Said Hermione. Draco nodded in agreement.

"Also, Hermione, your engagement ring should be on your right hand when you're with the muggles. There should be no wedding or magic talk near muggles. You two start the programme on Monday. Amanda has got your address and will visit you this afternoon at 15:00 PM." She looked worried, like she know's something bad will happen. "Very well, you may floo to your new address. Good luck to you both. I will floo Tuesday night at 9 PM." She handed them a piece of paper to them and watched them step into the fireplace. She sent their trunks to their house. I forgot to add, you will be returning in 2 weeks which will be near your wedding. I hope this is okay?"

"Yes professor, thank you very much."  Said Draco. He watched as she waved goodbye and then flooed them to Edinburgh.

When they arrived at their new Edinburgh home, they looked around with curiosity. The house was modern and classy. 

"Listen, Draco, I want to say sorry for pestering you last night. I hope we will be okay again." Apologised Hermione.

"No." He turned to face her. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have taken it out on you. And I do hope we will be better than ever!" He smirked as he saw her smile. Little did they know a little birdy was watching them through the window. 

The pair started to unpack and furnish their house. The master bedroom was twice as big as their bedroom at Hogwarts. Another bedroom had to be fully furnished because people couldn't know that they slept in the same room or that they were married.

At six o'clock they heard a knock on the door. They answered it together. "Hi! My name is Amanda! Are you Hermione and Draco?"

"Yes we are, it's nice to meet you. Please come in!" Smiled Hermione. 

A few hours later, they had gotten to know Amanda. They found out she likes reading like Hermione and that she likes sports. Since they had gotten to know her, they both were fond of her, she was different. She wasn't like the other 15 year old girls. She was innocent. When the clock reached 9 PM it was time for her to go home. 

Draco and Hermione stayed up for a few hours playing Muggle Chess and reading. "How can muggles not be bored with this? The pieces don't move and they don't do anything fun!" Draco complained about Muggle Chess. Hermione just laughed at him.

"Today was a good day." The both of them thought.
