*Natalie's P.O.V*

"So, Calum" my mom began "where are your parents?"

"They're just.... out right now."

"They haven't really been here lately." she pointed out.

"Probably getting stuff from our house." He said shrugging.

I felt him grab my hand under the table, which made me gasp but I didn't let go. I don't think I ever wanted to no matter how weird that is to me. I saw him smiling while eating his waffles. I wonder what's been going on with him lately, he's acting really strange and genuinely happy about life which I'm guessing is hard when your parents lost all of their money, but what do I know. He was rubbing the pad of his thumb against my hand.

"Natalie, what's wrong? You gasped." my mom asked.

"What? Nothing's wrong."

And that wasn't a lie, nothing was wrong. Everything seemed right.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Why are you so shy?"

"I don't know. I just am." I responded

"Well I wish you weren't. You're an amazing singer, actually. More than amazing. Your voice sounds like... well it sounds good. Better than good. It sounds gooder than good. It's great but great doesn't even begin to explain it. It's more than perfect too, it's like-"

I put my hand over his mouth. "Calum, you're rambling. You're very cute when you ramble though, so proceed." I said putting a hand over my mouth, surprised at my comment. We both giggled for awhile after.

"How many subscribers do you have?" he asked.

"What?"

"How many subscribers do you have? Natalie, I'm not stupid. I looked up your name for an hour last night trying to find your youtube channel. I found it. I never got to see how many subscribers you had though." he said.

"300 thousand" i mumbled.

"What?" he asked.

"Three hundred thousand. Why?" I said louder.

"I have an idea." he said, grabbing my laptop from off my desk and opening photo booth.

"NAT, CALUM COME DOWNSTAIRS PLEASE." my mom said.

We looked at each other and shrugged, walking out of my room down the stairs. I covered Calum's eyes once we got down there. If he saw my brother he would lose his shit.

"Why don't you go upstairs and write a plan for whatever you were gonna do." I told him.

Thank God, he agreed and walked back up the stairs.

"Did you say Calum? They aren't together, are they?" Luke said. I missed hearing his voice so much.

I walked over to him, trying not to cry and embraced him with my small arms. He wrapped his huge arms around me and I felt a tear in my hair, it was his. We stayed like that for 10 minutes just hugging and lightly crying. I forgot how much I had missed him while he was away. He bought his own place when he turned 18 and shares it with his friend Michael. That was 6 months ago. There was a boy in my science class named Luke that is kind of like him, but I missed the real Luke. Luke Hemmings my dorky brother that used to tell me everyday how much he loves me. He still does on text. He's here now, and I have more than one reason to stay alive now. He is my everything.

"Natalie, I've missed you so much. I love you , I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you. 6 months was way too long, I should've never left, I'm sorry baby. I'm here, forever." he said.

"It's okay Luke. I love you too. More than you will ever know."
