*Natalie's P.O.V*

When Luke was hugging me, I realized we have no room for him to say with Calum's family being here.

"Um, Luke, I'm gonna tell you something but I don't want you to react badly. Please." I said pulling away.

I heard him mutter an uh oh, but I continued.

"Calum and his family are staying here."

"Oh, okay. You had me worried for a bit." He said chuckling.

"W-what?"

"The past is in the past. I'm okay with him now Nat."

On cue, Calum walked in and his mouth hung open. I just hoped he wasn't mad. I knew he hated Luke for what he did to his sister, but hopefully 'the past is in the past' for him too.

He walked up to Luke and hugged him. Luke hugged back. Finally, my life was coming back together for once. I hope. Luke was smiling and so was Calum.

"Luke, I missed you. I know we've been mad at each other for awhile, and I'm sorry about that. My sister can do whatever she wants, and so can you. Sorry for everything I've caused you and Natalie."

Now it was my turn to be shocked, after all of the years of hatrid and fighting between the two boys I never thought Calum would be the one to apologize first. He only overreacted, it was some random girl's fault.

"It's okay mate." Luke said smiling.

I was crying tears of joy, and I don't know why. Maybe it's just seeing my brother and my best frie- woah. That thought cannot be finished. Maybe it's just seeing my brother like this, so loving and seeing Calum so loving as well.

"Sorry to ruin the moment, but would you guys mind walking to the grocery store to get us some yeast and hydrogen peroxide?" My mom said.

"That's oddly specific, what do you need that for?" Calum said.

"Just get it please, I'll give you money and extra so you guys can stop at Starbucks, okay?"

"Okay!" I said taking the money and dragging the boys out the door.

"I need my jacket." Luke and Calum said in unison.

"Me too, I'll get them. Be right back."

I grabbed Calum's jacket from my bed and got mine off my coat hanger. Luke's was in his room in the basement. I totally forgot he even had a room. He left that jacket for 6 months, and I don't think it'll fit,  but whatever. I picked up his snapback on the way out, I figured he would want it.

"Here you go guys." I said tossing them their jackets and putting mine on.

As Luke walked in front of me, I put his snapback on him and he laughed adjusting it on his head.

Starbucks was a few minutes away, but the grocery store was farther so we thought we'd go there on the way there and the way back. Who doesn't love starbucks ?And, we'd need it for all that walking. I hate exercise so much.

In a few minutes, we arrived at Starbucks and Luke and Calum were playing rock paper scissors to decide who had to hold the door. I had enough after 6 rounds and decided to open the door. They pouted until we got to the counter to order.

"I'll have a grande peppermint mocha frappuccino with extra whipped cream please." I said.

"I'll have an iced caramel macchiato with extra caramel." Luke said. That was the only thing he ever got and I found it girly.

"I'll just have a smoothie." Calum said.
"Strawberry, greens, carrot, or orange?" The woman said. She was pretty. She had black hair, freckles, tan-ish skin and blue eyes.

"Umm orange please."
"Coming right up guys."

We were the only ones in there at this time of night. It was 8:30 pm and I was honestly surprised it was still open.

"I'm gonna use the restroom guys, I'll be right back." Luke said leaving Calum and I alone.
We grabbed the drinks and sat in some chairs in the corner with a table. Mum probably wouldn't be expecting us for at least 2 hours because of the walking, so why not sit down while we can.
"Umm... Natalie." Calum said

"Yeah?" I asked.
"Have you ever kissed anyone?"
I felt my cheeks turn red.
"Um, no. I haven't." I said. I probably looked like a tomato.
Suddenly, I felt Calum's lips against mine and we both stood up.
He put his hands on my waist and mine went around his neck.

Wait.

This is wrong.
Oh well. Our lips kept moving until Calum pulled away.

"Yeah, me neither." He said smiling.

I think this is the longest chapter I've ever written.

I love Calum's character, he's so forward.

So many hints to the next chapter. And, thank you so much for 29 reads! I never even pictured it getting 3 lmao

Love you 💜
