Clarissa's POV

unedited

---------------------------------------

Dean dragged me up the stairs of the mansion and into a large room that smells strongly of him. His room. I am freaking out as he roughly pushes me on the bed with his hands holding mine above my head. I start kicking and screaming, but is lips captured mine, taking them hostage and muffling any sound meant to escape. He grabbed a small rope  and tied my hands together and after that he allowed his hands to roam freely over my flinching body. He was lifting my shirt when a small boy came in.

The boy who looked to be around eight years old had come in yelling  for his daddy. What? Dean already has a pup? Then why does he want me? Dean got off of me, asking the child, Xavier, what he wants. "A rogue escaped! She was being transported to the cells and she broke free. She took off towards Shadow Creek," the boy replied out of breathe from talking so fast.

Dean must have mind linked someone, because Harriet walked in with a grim, yet scared look on her face. As  dean was leaving the room I called out to him. "I swear, if you hurt my mother. I will kill you." Dean smirked, "Well, I would love to stay and chat, but I have a rogue to deal with," he stepped out of the room and popped his head back in, "Oh, and you  couldn't kill me even if you wanted to. Keep her tied up mother. I'm not done yet." With the last part directed to Harriet, he left. Harriet's face paled and grew even more grim.

She walked over to me after shutting the door and untied my hands. "I'm sorry," she replied "Is that woman who escaped your mother? Because if it is," she paused, "She's a goner. Dean shows no mercy." Her words broke me into tears. I was torn apart, should I stay or jump out the window to help my mother? I think for the first time in my life I am putting myself over her. I feel selfish. I look from Harriet to the large, bay window. I jumped up and sprinted to the window, jumping, I smashed through it. I fell down towards the ground, as I am falling I hear a shrill scream coming from that room. Harriet.

As soon as my feet hit the floor I must have sprouted wings, because I'm soaring through the yard and towards the cells. Upon arrival I pick up her scent. As I walk to the strong scent two guards run up to me. They had a big build, and when I say big, I mean big. Their muscles rippled when they moved their powerful legs. With a running leap, I shifted, running after my mother and Dean. As I neared the creek, I was tackled to the ground and pushed into the rushing water.

Why they call this a creek I have know clue. It was a rapid river. My head was shoved under, causing me to swallow buckets of the turbulent water. When my head resurfaced I saw David. He was still in human form, pushing me under. I swallowed more water, my lungs began to burn from the water entering my lungs with every attempted breathe. I threw my paw upward to throw David off. My paw struck him in the face, right on his left cheek. It's probably going to scar. David went backwards, allowing me a chance to regain my strength and breathe. I look over to see Dean and my mother having a face off.

They circled each other, analyzing each other. My mother lunged missing Dean as he swung his head out right, catching her by her throat. Everything froze as Dean began the movements to snap her neck. It all happens in slow motion, David rocketed towards me and Dean finishing of my mother. As she fell into the river, David plunged us both into the deep, rushing water. I was pulled under by the undercurrent, closing my eyes and trying to breathe. When I reached the surface again, David was making an attempt to get to shore. He must have shifted before plowing into me, because his red wolf struggled to make it to dry land.

My body was thrashed into tall, sharp rocks as I lost all will to live. My mother, father and friends are all dead. I am the last, my only living family members are my grandparents. They don't even know I exist. David made it to shore as I stopped fighting the current. I sank, while being pushed away with the current.

My world began to turn black, everything I have known turning to dust. Slowly losing all of their meaning, being swept away by the current. I have lost all hope at happiness. The current tugged at my bobbing, worn, and pain filled body, carrying me away. Finally I let the darkness over rule my body. With only one thought held tightly to my mind, my parents and I having a picnic in our special place. I slipped into the ocean of darkness, easing my mind and restless soul.

I woke up to water trickling down my now course fur. I lifted my head spinning it in all directions to look for anybody that means me any harm. When I swiveled my head to the left I found my mothers lifeless body with the water gently and slowly pulling her back into the torturous current. I stood as fast as my battered body would allow. I pulled myself over to where my limp mother lay. Shifting, I pick her up and cradle her limp wolf. I can't believe she's dead. I bury my head into her soft, bloody, wet fur and let a sob rack through my body.

After ten minutes of crying I stood up and shifted. I walked onto the dry ground, off of the sand and began to dig. After an hour my already sore, aching body grew even worse. My paws felt like giant boulders and my head felt as if it had been pounded to a pulp with bricks. My entire body felt like it was dead. I finally finished to hole, shifting, I walked over to my mother. I closed her haunting, open eyes and picked her up. I gently lie her in the  six foot deep hole.

After I buried her I felt a surge of rage flow through me. She was permanently injured after the accident. The wolf that had attacked us that night laced his teeth with silver and wolfsbane. When put together the two can prove a deadly concoction. He had damaged  her right front paw and her hind left leg. Hints the reason why I had to hunt and Catherine had to stay behind to protect my mother. Now she's dead. I ran through the woods after shifting back into my wolf.

I dodged trees and leapt over fallen logs, running up stream towards Dean and his pack. I will fulfill my promise Dean. I will kill Alpha Dean Jacks. Mate or no.
