Clarissa's POV

unedited

--------------------------------------------------

Dean walked into the room and shut the door behind him. I heard light arguments and the clashes of pots. Then I began to hear screams. A shrill scream rang out. Then, a very disheveled Dean walked out of the house-like room.

He grabbed me by the arm and practically threw me into the room. I came face to face with a fuming older woman, who looked to be in her mid to late 50's. I gave a shy smile and a small wave. The older woman gave me a glare that could freeze hell over. "Hello. I'm Clarissa Eves." I said, holding out a hand for her to shake. She gave a shake of her head, and a disapproving look.
Did I do something wrong? I don't think I did. Finally after minutes of awkward silence she began to speak, "I'm sorry, I just want my son to be a gentleman. And he apparently doesn't know the meaning," She stuck her hand outward for me to shake. I gladly excepted with a smile of joy plastered on my face. "I'm Harriet. Dean's mother."
I nodded in acknowledgement. Slightly startled when the door burst open to an angry retiree. Harriet was apparently startled as well, because she held her hand over her heart and began panting heavily. "David! You scared me half to death!" David or retiree, turned to his mate. He gave her a quick glance, checking to make sure she wasn't harmed. After that, he shoved her behind him and began growling viciously.
"Stay away from my mate, Rouge!" David spat the last part. I growled, showing my pearly, white, canines. Harriet placed a hand on David's back rubbing soothing circles to try and calm him. "It's not my fault I'm even in here. I don't even want to be here!" I yelled. He growled at me saying, "Watch your tongue Rogue! I'm an Alpha and I deserve respect!" I growled at that. "Remember who your talking to. I'm the rightful heir of the most powerful pack in America! Have you forgotten already?" He scowled and attempted to stifle a growl. I huffed and began, "There is more to me than you know. Both my mother and I. And I don't think my grandparents would take kindly to you trying to kill their only child and rightful heir." I smirked.
He became even more angry at what I had said. Waiting for him to reply I put a hand on my hip, waiting. Instead of David, it was Harriet who had begun to ask questions. "What do you mean? Who are your grandparents?" I scoffed. "You'll have to find out." I stated simply. "Bye, nice meeting you Harriet." With that I left the house-like room.
I ran through the halls and down the stairs. My mother sat on a couch with two men standing at her sides. At the sight of me, she shot up out of her chair and attempted to walk over to me. She was roughly pushed into the chair, making me even angrier. I ran up to the first guard and gave him a good scissor kick to the head. Then, I ran towards the second guard and gave him a round house punch to the temple. Using enough force to knock them unconscious.

The two who lie on the floor in front of me had a medium build, the first had black hair and the second had blonde hair. They were considerably tall for their age, they looked to be about 27, give or take a few years. I grabbed my mother and ran out the pack house doors. Dean was nowhere in sight. Great! It would make this whole thing a lot easier.

We stopped in the giant park, children playing everywhere. Should we go threw it or around it? It was a really big park. Through. I let go of my mothers hand, telling her to stay put. I fastly walked behind a large oak and commenced in stripping my body of the clothe, called clothing. I initiated the shifting process, by thinking of my wolf. Black fur, almost blue, with sharp, pearly, white teeth and gigantic black paws. My bones elongated and rearranged themselves, turning me into an enormous black wolf.

My fur had begun to glisten in the sunlight, as I stepped out of the oak's shadows. Mother held a warm smile on her face. I love making her smile. She doesn't smile a lot after the accident. I wish I looked like one of them. But, as luck would have it, I don't. My father's wolf was a sandy blonde and my mother's is a pure white, wolf. No other colors on her. While my wolf, is so black, it looks blue in sunlight. It's very, very rare for an Alpha to be a solid black. Actually, just black in itself. They're either white, or other really light colors, every other rank can vary in color.

I walked up to my mother, towering over her, I leaned down. She hopped on my back, giving me a slight nod. I stood up straight, bolting through the playground. I swished past many children and mothers. The mothers holding fear in their eyes, while their children's held awe.

My nose began to twitch as my two favorite smells drew nearer. I picked up my pace to a mild jog, I looked back to see a struggling Dean on my heels and a Beta having an even harder time. I picked up my pace, making myself go even faster. My muscles rippled as I jumped the playground equipment. My mother tightening her grip on my smooth fur.

She was suddenly ripped off of my back and thrust onto the ground. My body came to a halt. The Beta finally catching up, to us stood over my mother, teeth barred. I growled low and menacingly, hoping to scare Dean and the Beta. Dean held my mother tightly and growled menacingly at me.

He had her by her arm, grasp only growing firmer. The Beta was standing slightly in front of my mother, blocking my view of her. 'Why are you running? I thought we made a deal.' I really hate him, as he clasps his powerful jaws down even harder on her arm, causing her to scream out in pain. I growled, 'Put her down!' The Beta shifted, his naked form standing in front of me as he tried to put a pair of shorts on.

He grabbed my mother and pulled her up exceedingly, with her uninjured arm she firmly held her other arm. 'We had a deal. Your mother's life, for you,' I huffed at the mention of the deal. I put my head down in defeat, my hope was just crushed. The Beta helped her walk, while Dean had ordered me to shift. Standing there, covering myself, a shirt and a pair of shorts were tossed at me.

We walked for a couple of minutes before coming up to a huge mansion that I have never seen before. My mother and I were separated, her pushed towards the cells, and I being pushed into the mansion. I'll probably never see her again.
