Killian's POV:

I've done a lot of thinking since my conversation with Izzy. I just keep hearing her words over and over- "I hope you make the right choice." I think I've come to that choice. Milah is wonderful, and I hope that we can still be civil, she, I, and Izzy, but I think I have to choose Emma. Now that I've had time to process what really happened, I see how much she cares for me. She risked her own life and those of her family just to bring me back. That's real love. To be honest, I don't know if Milah would ever do that for me, and if I would do if for her. But I keep coming back to Izzy. The announcement of me being a father may have blindsided me, but I've really grown to love my little girl. Ok, she's fourteen and not so little anymore. But the fact remains. I hope she'll be able to forgive me.

Rumplestiltskin's POV:

Miss Swan must really be set on seeing Bae. She sacrificed the life of Captain One-Hand's daughter just so I'd help her. I approached the ship where the happy little family was staying. Now, now was my moment. Ripping Milah's heart out and crushing it in front of her and her knew love wasn't nearly enough to satisfy my taste for revenge. But crushing their daughter's heart in front of them? That definitely will be.

Regina's POV:

Robin and I strolled down Main Street. I needed to find Gold. David mentioned that Emma had some plan derived to fix all her problems, and it involved him. "Regina, I don't see how this is going to-" Robin began, but I held a finger up and hushed him. Off in the distance, I saw Rumple making his way towards the docks, a mixed look of frustration and satisfaction on his face. I hurried toward him calling his name. When he saw me he stopped, swiveled on his cane, and sighed. "Yea, Regina, what can I do for you?" "Where are you going?" I questioned, Robin scuffling up behind me. Gold snarled, "If it isn't Miss Swan asking me questions, is you dear. I have a some business to attend to. Is that answer enough for you?" I folded my hands in front of me. "Actually, it's Miss Swan that's my concern. Her father said she was looking for you. Why?" Gold's expression changed. He now showed his look of deceit, when he knows something you don't. He turned away from me, smirking. "Ask herself yourself, dearie," he said. He looked over his shoulder and gave me one last glance. "But you won't be pleased."

Emma's POV:

I've been thinking about the deal I made with Gold. I mean, I really do need to get to Neal, but letting him kill Killian's daughter? That's not who I am. Even as the Dark One, I don't think I could've let that happen. I jumped off the barstool in Mary Margaret's apartment (she and David weren't home; they went out for "lunch") and bolted out the door. I had to get to Hook's ship. Before it was too late.

Rumplestiltskin's POV:

The docks in sight, and everyone out of mind, I stepped onto the pier. The pirate's ship was tied to a wooden post and anchored down. They would never see me coming. I crept carefully onto the deck, and when I saw no one around, down the stairs into the ship's hold. I could hear muffled voices.

Killian's POV:

"I hope you aren't mad," I said. Izzy hung her head. "You're really serious?" she asked, not looking at me. "Izzy, darling, please. I love you. And I will always care for your mother. But some nagging feeling is just telling me to go back to Emma." My daughter got up, placed her hands on her hips and sighed. She shook her head. "I get it, Dad. I do. And I can forgive and forget easily. But you really think Mom can?" I shrugged. "I don't know. I hope, though." Just then, Milah emerged from the back room. Both mine and Izzy's faces dropped. Milah frowned. "What's wrong?" "Dad has something to tell you!" Izzy blurted out, instantly covering her mouth with her hands and rushing past her mother to another room. Milah looked at me questioningly. "Killian, what's she talking about?" I took her hand in mine. "I'm going back to Emma," I mumbled, but from the way she jerked her hand away, she'd heard me. "Really?" she demanded, her voice weak. "But Killian, our family! We just got back together? You're going to throw all that away for some blond-haired traitor?" I looked away. "Don't call her that. She really does care for me. And if you ever did, Milah, you'll respect my decision and not keep Izzy from me." Milah closed her eyes and sighed. "Okay," she responded after a few moments of silence. "I won't keep our daughter from you." Her eyes diverted. "That would be cruel." I smiled a little. "I'll always care for you, Milah," I whispered, pulling her into a hug. Silently, Izzy crept up and latched herself to us. We stayed like that for a minute, until there was a creaking on the steps and a familiar voice. "Hate to break up this lovely family reunion," Rumplestiltskin snarled. "But that's exactly what I'm going to do." He took a few steps forward and stared at Izzy, who's eyes were wide with fear. "Rumple, what are you doing?" Milah asked, her voice shaky. Rumplestiltskin traced Izzy's cheek with his hand. "So pretty," he muttered. "Yet so troubling." He reached for her chest. "Stay away from her!" I shouted, running at him, but with a single wave of his hand, both Milah and I were forced against the wall, bound with rope, the same way I was when he killed Milah. It was then that I realized exactly what was happening.

Emma's POV:

"No!" I cried as I approached the docks, running faster than I ever had before. I fought the urge to cry, feeling that it may already be too late. I ran past Regina, who was walking with Robin. "Emma?" she asked. "What's wrong?" I didn't answer, but I could hear her sensible heels clacking after me. I rushed onto the deck of the ship and into the hold. There I saw Gold, standing in front of Izzy, both her parents forced against the wall. "Gold stop," I sobbed, barely able to look at Killian. "You can't do this." Gold smirked. "But I can, Miss Swan. We had a deal." And with that, he plunged his hand into the poor girl's chest, yanking out her pure, red heart, and crushing it on the spot. Behind me, Regina, Robin, and my parents stood at the door, gaping in awe as Izzy fell to the ground. "No!" Hook cried, as he was released from the wall. He ran over to his daughter and held her lifeless body in his arms. "Why have you done this?" he bawled. I was surprised at the lack of fury in his voice. All I heard was sadness and defeat. Gold brushed the dust from his hands and pointed at me. "Ask her," he replied, and pushed past everyone else and out of the hold. "What does he mean?" Killian shouted. "What did you do?" Tears ran down my face. "I'm sorry," I sputtered. "I made a deal with him." Regina walked up to me, arms crossed. "What deal?" she demanded. I'd never seen her so angry with me. She wasn't even this mad when I brought Marion back on accident. "I told him I'd let him kill Izzy in exchange for helping me find Neal." There was a series of gasps and sighs from all around. Before I could say anything, Milah stalked up to me and slapped me right across my cheek. I put a hand to my face. "You selfish witch!" she seethed. "You traitor! To think he was going to leave me for you!" She then collapsed on the floor crying. I looked at Killian, who still knelt by his daughter's body. He nodded. "It's true," he said. "I was planning to go back to you. Go back with you." He paused. "Was." He stood up and glared at me. "But now there's not a chance." "Killian-" I began. "NO!" he thundered. "It's too late to apologize! My little girl is dead! And it's your fault! You could have stopped the crocodile, you could have told someone! But you didn't! It's just as Milah said; you're a selfish witch." He walked back over to Izzy and kissed her forehead. "Goodbye, my darling," he sobbed. He then brushed himself off and headed for the door. Before he left, he shot be a few final words. "You almost had it all." I cried as I watched him leave the ship, Milah trailing after him. I looked at Regina, who simply shook her head and gave a disapproving look, grabbing robins hand and exiting. I turned to my parents. "Mom?" I asked. "Dad?" They both looked at each other, then back at me. "How could you Emma?" my mom said, followed by my dad, "I don't even know you anymore." They both left, leaving me in the quiet ship hold, nothing but myself and the biggest mistake I could've made, lying dead on the floor.
