Louis' POV (Point Of View)

I learned quite a bit about Marcel today. He likes to read those sappy, romantic books like The Last Song and The Fault In Our Stars. He's dorky though so it didn't surprise me. Now when I say dorky, I mean adorably dorky. So it's no way an insult. He likes to spend time with his cat, Molly, and he secretly loves to sing. I hope one day I'll get to hear his singing. I told him I loved to sing but I just like to keep that fact to myself. Overall, I'm just glad I got to know things about him. I love that he can open up to me a bit better now.

"Louis? You alright?" Marcel interrupted my thoughts as he walked beside me to his next class.

"Oh, yeah. Just happy, that's all." I shoot him a happy smile.

"Happy? That's good. But, why?" He questioned.

"Well, because I'm just glad I got to know more about you. I hope I can learn more though." I replied, hoping I didn't sound so needy.

"Oh," Marcel cleared his throat. "I hope so too."

As we approached the door to his next class, I gave him a high five and watched him walk in. I couldn't help but notice his adorkable looking form in his outfit. I actually love the way he dresses. I think it's unique. Although, I'd love to see him in some hipster outfits and a suit, but that clearly wasn't up to my choice. His height makes his pants seem a bit too short for his long legs, which I find quite... cute. Man, these thoughts sure has srtangely been lingering in my brain quite often now. I just can't help it though... he's so damn cute.

"Remember to crack those calculations and make the numbers fear you in your math class!" Marcel snorted as he waved to me from his seat.

"Aha, sure will! I'll see you at lunch, mate!" I waved back with a chuckle.

I hear the room go silent as people realized I was standing by the door, looking at Marcel, and smiling. I don't get why people seem to find it odd that Marcel and I are becoming friends. I mean, yeah, I did bully him but it wasn't extreme and I have my reasons. Marcel is a lovable guy and I truly regret that I've hurt him.

"Hey Lou," I hear a female voice come up behind me and whispered into my left ear as her arms wrapped around my waist, "Why don't you and I skip class and go out back for some fun."

"No thanks, Shelly. I think it's best you go to class." I gently took her arms and returned it to her sides.

"Look. I don't know why the hell you've been so caught up with that nerd. But let me tell you something, your popularity is decreasing each time people see you with him." She argued.

I turned around to meet her dark brown eyes and intensely replied,

"His name is Marcel and I can care less about what everyone says or thinks. Got it?"

"Whatever." She laughed as if I was joking.

"Oh yeah?" I tensed up as I turned back around to walk into Marcel's class. I headed straight to where Marcel was seated as everyone in class grew silent again and stared at my every movement, I bent down to his eye level,

"If any of these piece of shits say anything mean to you, you tell me. Alright?"

Marcel tensed up and nodded quickly in shock. I gave him a reassuring smile as I grabbed his hand and spoke again,

"I'm serious."

I could tell Marcel was nervous by my action as beads of sweat started to form on his forehead. He used his free arm to wipe away the sweats and bit his bottom lip. His hands started to scrunch up and his face grew innocent. He looked so damn cute.
