My friends nudged my slowly forwards when Tracy was finished and then once my name was announced, they shoved me on. Luckily I didn’t fall but only just. I quickly made my way to the piano at the side of the stage and Let my fingers run across the keys knowing that I had to do this; I open my mouth and began to sing.

As I felt the music run through my fingers and into my body, I began to close my eyes and just let the lyrics carry me away

I will not make the same mistakes that you did

To never let it get that far
