Recap: My mum walked in through the door closing it softly behind her.

'Olivia, I'm so unbelievably sorry for the way I treated you over the years. I will explain soon why I acted in that way but you have to go to London, to that music school it's what you've always wanted. Oh don't look at me like that! Of course I noticed how you loved music how you had that same passion that your father did. I need to you pursue your dreams. I'm going to London too to a... Rehab clinic so you can come to me whenever.' what Kyle had said to mum I had no idea but whatever he said, I am eternally grateful for! I let out a huge grin as I felt the happiness overpower me. I suddenly felt a little light headed as realisation dawned on me, I'm going to London!!!

Chapter 3

The loud tannoy speaker echoed through the airport as a deep grumbly male voice said,

'last call for the 12.45 to London gate 16'

This threw me into shock I'd been day dreaming way too long. I quickly gathered my things and almost ran to gate 16 searching through my hand bag, instantly worrying as I couldn't find my boarding pass or my passport. God this can't get worse! Mr Howard had to leave early cause he couldn't keep away from the school for long so I'm here alone and have no idea what I'm doing! I had told my friends I was leaving and of course although they were very proud of me, they were very sad that I was leaving them. They also planned a party for me which was loads of fun but I was really going to miss them. I really hope I can make some friends at the academy I don't know what I'll do if I don't.

I finally got to the correct gate and found my pass I breathed out a sigh of relief. Oh thank god!

'You just made it miss, c'mon we can just get you on' the hostess said quickly as she rushed me onto the plane and pointed in the direction of my seat. I never understood why they had to point when all the seats are down this way but...apparently it's necessary. I found my seat, number 17C next to a young couple chatting amongst themselves. I sat down and placed my luggage under the seat and settles down ready for takeoff. God this is going to be a long journey.

I was right. The journey was long and quiet and there was a young child behind me kicking my seat. I occupied myself with my iPod and book and I luckily wasn't too bored as the journey was very short getting to London and it was quite relaxing actually. Getting off the plane, however, was not. I didn't know how many people were on the plane as I got on late but as I got off, I was pushed and shoved as everyone tries to get off as soon as possible even though there really wasn't any need to rush. I found my suitcases and found the exit fairly quickly, scanning the crowd of people, I searched for someone to ask for the direction of the taxis. Once I found someone, got an answer and exited to reach the taxis, I was overcome with shock as heat swept over me in the hot London air. It's not even that hot in London but compared to up north...

The streets of London were the busiest thin I have ever seen and I couldn't understand how no one was knocked over in peoples rush. I stood on my tip toes and finally found the taxi station and made my way through the rush of people to a taxi and told the driver I was going to the academy of music. He looked shocked and said,

'Aren't you a bit late for the start of term?'

'Yeah, I just got accepted on Wednesday' I replied, smiling. He smiled back and we continued with the journey.
