Why Couldn't I Just Leave You That Day

Understanding a Little

While laying on the couch quietly I thought back to when I hurt Kagome, I was angry and wanted to punch Miroku instead but unfortunately didn't turn out that way. Seriously, he's the one who is watching me on orders, he should've paid attention to my fighting and attitude. While trying to get the shipment I had lost control, killed everyone except for the stupid wind woman Kagura, she had gotten away but with a few wounds.

After I came back to my true self I realized what I had done while Miroku was screaming my name, I was in pretty bad shape myself so instead of staying there seeing all of those bodies, I ran, at first I didn't where to run. I believed I wasn't going to get far with these wounds then I thought about Kagome waiting for us back out our place, I remembered the promise I made with her but certainly did not keep it. So instead I ran back home not caring about these damn wounds I had, I just wanted to get back home for once.

Then, here I am now, alive and fixed up by none other than Kagome herself, I swear I need to stop doing this to her she doesn't deserve it. She never deserved to be pulled into this mess either. Miroku was stupid for even letting her stay here, she could find out that we belong in a gang or worse...I don't even want to think of worse possibilities. While I was laying on the couch, Miroku had came into the main room sitting in his chair with a sigh. "I'm sorry Inuyasha for what I did earlier" I sat up slowly on the couch "I owe you a punch in the face" I grumbled, he sighed once more "Forget it, not happening...but couldn't you see that I was right? Kagome is changing your personality...it wouldn't be all bad if we-" "Miroku, that's a stupid idea, we cannot add her into this gang...remember when Kikyo was in it?"

Miroku sighed in frustration knowing for a fact he was remembering "Yes...And I also know that the injury she got was because of us but I don't think Kagome-" "No..." I said sternly "She's....She's..." Miroku stared at me shocked then he smirked "Has Inuyasha fallen for a girl?" He teased, my face burned just a bit "Sh-Shut up Miroku" I growled.

"Oh no no no, you have, you fallen for her" I laid back down on the couch with 'thump' turning my back towards him "I said shut up" I growled again "Well you're certainly not denying it, and I thought when you were wounded you would've gone to the hospital but instead came all the way here! Back home to her!" He half yelled half whispered "Inuyasha can't you see-" I sat up glaring at him "Miroku shut up, it's bad enough you're dating someone, what if they find out? They would take her probably torture her, and Kagome was already taken once because she socialized with me" I growled at him.

Miroku sighed "Fine fine..." He said and got out of his chair "I'm going to bed" he had left the main room, when I heard his door open and then closed shut, sighing I actually have thought about adding her to this little gang we had and yes Kikyo was once in this gang. She was actually related to the old hag which is weird for me, but Kikyo was like our second boss, leader whatever.

Kikyo told us we had to go charge in on another mansion Naruku was in, we had a bad feeling about it but we couldn't defy orders, Kikyo had went with us because we were grounded on some things we did earlier that month, and let me just say that woman and I was not on good terms with each other at the time. While we were in the mansion we would argue about everything, damn woman are annoying sometimes.

Well when we were surrounded by Naruku's men, one them decided to sneak up on me while I was "losing control", instead of me being hit it was Kikyo, she saved me from being killed. I turned around to witness this and I cursed, I didn't ask her to save me, I didn't want her to be killed when I was the target. Miroku was pissed that day as well.

While I stayed home, Miroku and Koga had went to go take her to the hospital. Later that night I was told I was almost kicked out of the gang for letting Kikyo risk her life for me, that I should've stayed in control to prevent this from happening, I was angry that they even dared saying that. I didn't yell out "Kikyo! I'm about to get killed by this guy, jump out and risk your life for me!" Just a bunch of bullshit really.
