Why Couldn't I Just Leave You That Day

While changing into a new outfit I had heard a knock on my door then it clicked open. Thank goodness I was done changing because it was Inuyasha. I had looked at him while he close the door quietly behind him then looked at me.

"He-" "Do you really want to do this...?" He asked while he crossed his arms walking over to me. "Honestly... I don't like it" I sighed "Come on Inuyasha, it's the only thing we can probably do...Hopefully" he clicked his tongue and looked away with me a vein showing on the side of his head. "I...Fine whatever but if something happens, we chose plan B got it?" He growled quietly looking back at me.

I tilted my head a little with a questionable look "Plan...B?" I asked curiously. "I. Am. Turning. Myself. In" he stated plainly, my eyes widen "N-No!" I yelled at him and he stepped forward making me take a step up and I swear I felt like his eyes look like a darker gold. Imagine if they were red with anger. "Yes, if it helps Miroku and Koga, I will do it". My hand clenched into fist. "I said no! You could be in there forever!".

He stepped forward making me back up more making my back lean against a wall then he slammed his hand right next to my head then leaned forward are faces just inches apart. I felt like his eyes were just bearing deep into my own. It was scary in a way. "That doesn't matter, I've done crime, I've killed I deserve to be in there".

I felt angry, fumed, pissed, I took my fist slamming into his chest feeling my eyes water a little. "Y-You can't go...You can't" I mumbled quietly, he leaned in more getting so close I can feel his breath on my neck. "Kagome....If I do" he looked at me with such warm loving eyes I couldn't believe he even had such eyes. He closed the gap between us lightly pressing his lips against mine.

I was shocked, it felt like electricity was going throughout my body even to my toes and fingertips. Then slowly I started to melt into the kiss wrapping my arms around the back of his neck. He wrapped one arm around my waist pulling me away from the wall while his other hand went to the back of my head, he tilted forward making my head go back a little deepening the kiss.

Inuyasha soon pulled away to take a breath of air and his cheeks were lightly pink. I took some breaths to with pink dusted on my own cheeks. "W-W-Why did you...". Instead of letting me finish, he let go of the back of my head wrapping his other arm around my waist giving me a hug.

"While I was walking around town one day, I had tugged at this beaded necklace I own, a little girl I met gave them to me...Miroku went into the store to steal some things and I hung around outside". I wrapped my arms around him listening carefully and he continued "This little girl was with her mother at the store, and she saw me she had left her mother going over to me quickly".

'Beads...?' I questioned curiously in my head. "She had asked me if I was okay, I said no, she asked why....I told her I had lost my family....Then a little bit after her mother had called her...she shoved that strange beaded necklace onto me". My eyes widen as I got a strange feeling of this happening once "Inuyasha....?" His hug tightened on me. "Kagome smells just like that girl but...It was so long ago, I wanted to see the girl again but what I became...what I have done".

"Inuyasha those beads....I...that was me...?" He nodded slowly "Kagome, this may seems off even for me but I have feelings for you....I care for you but you don't deserve this, a gang...you lift get hurt" I pulled away quickly glaring at him. "Shut up! You...you have no to chose who and who I can't be with because of what or who they are!". His eyes widen while he looked at me. "So I can be with you on my own choosing, I can very much protect myself if I need to got that?"

Inuyasha's eyes softened again a second time and I have to admit I don't think I will ever get tired of see that side of him, he leaned down once more get closer and closer....then stopped letting me go and pulled away. I looked at him confused then looked at the door when I heard a knock and my best friends voice "Kagome? Is everything alright?" I blushed madly forgetting that she was even here!

I quickly went to the door opening it quickly "S-Sorry! Shall we go?" I smiled at her and looked back at Inuyasha who was already on his way over to us. "Yea, let's get goin" he mumbled and left my room shoving his hands into his pockets.

I grabbed my bag and had closed my bedroom door still smiling at Sango "Hopefully this works" I said quietly, Sango nodded quickly "I hope so too...Your car or mine?" I hummed a little then grinned "My car" I went to the front door seeing Inuyasha had already left and I quickly grabbed my car keys.

Sango left the apartment as well and I had locked my front door then closing it. Inuyasha was standing by my car and I had stared at him for a long moment wondering what in the world am I getting myself into but then also knowing being with him. Might not be so bad but actually fun, yes he's a gang member but....I do care for him and I want to be with along with everybody else.

When I got into the car along with them I had turned on the ignition, driving off to the police station hoping, praying that everything will go alright.
