Now, neither of us are are professional writers, so I urge (or beg) you not to be too critical. We just want to share our story with whomever may find it, because - well - we think it's pretty darn neat.
Also, this story revolves not only around us, but several aspects of marching band. Excuse the nerdiness. It's unavoidable.
