Bull sh!t.  No freaking way I'm getting up at 7.  Nope, nada, absolutely not.  I did it anyways.  I showered that night and went to bed.  I was tired, so tired.  Dillon said he wanted to shower in the morning and sleep on the floor, I was comfortable with that! I took my merry time, and was so refreshed.  The bad part, I knew the second I got in this rusty bed, I was not sleeping much that night.   I woke up itching, and wrapped in covers as I run to the door.  Our counselor said,"Rough night?" And all I did was grunt.  I knew in that second girls had it 100 times better than us.

I got up and dressed and ready to meet Jae and Kevin.  They smiled and said you get used to it, as if they knew exactly why I had big purple bags under my eyes and red bumps everywhere.   The one thing that really brought a smile to my face though was seeing my sister; my role model, inspiration, best friend, and all the while leading me down the path of success.  She smiled and said the same thing as Jae and Kevin, it made me laugh.

We started by learning the schedule at our camps and everyone on my line was older than me.  Hated the idea of a 7th grader beating them on line placement so everyone hated me.  It didn't bother me, I had so much fun that day.  More than the first, knowing that I was going to be fine was reassuring.  I was worried, worried I was gonna walk away from this camp with two friends.  I wasn't upset by that thought, but boy was I wrong.

We are our lunch.  Something like a bologna sandwiches with lemonade and an ice cream cup or something close to that.  Jae and Kevin had the opportunity to show me to this group of people, and at the time I had never been so happy to meet.  I met James Stout, the only kid with diabetes in the camp and often used it as an excuse.  (Not being rude). Ty Hendrix, the master mind of James and his jokes and stuff.  I've never seen two closely matched human beings.  Justyne Eden, a guardie.  Pro at it too, one of the most beautiful human beings I've met.  Personality and all.  Destiny Parret another guardie, super defensive of her friends at all times.  She would defend you against a pterodactyl.  These people made me smile so hard.  But the best was yet to come.  We practiced for the rest of day, and did our lawn games.  Dillon got the bed tonight, I slept on the floor and it SUCKED! But it was all worth it.  All in the end it was worth it.
