Never Alone

The question

I got a text from Preston today that sad,

P: want to go out tonight????

M: sure, what time????

P: I'll pick you up at 4:30.

M: ok see you then<3

P: bring a swimming suit!!!

M: alrighty baby

I got ready and he came to pick me up. I had my hair in a braid down the side of my head.   I had a swimming suit on under my tee shirt and shorts. When he pulled up into my drive way I ran out side and jumped into his arms. He picked me up and spun me around. He was acting a little bit weird. Witch made me wonder what was going on. In the car we were talking to each other and then our song came in. I started singing and he just looked at me with caring, loving eyes. " What?" I said " I've just never heard you sing before, you have a beautiful voice." " Thanks!" 

When we got to the lake we walked down there. He seemed quite, a little mysterious. We walked slowly down to the lake. I can't figure out for the life of me what he was so quite for. It was scaring me a little bit. Was he breaking up with me??? I was scared.

  When we got down there he blind filed me. I sat there for a good twenty minutes just waiting then he yelled at me to take my blind fold off. He sounded like he was in the forest. I took it off and when I looked there was a path Of rose petals and at my feet was a card.  I opened it, inside it said," To my love and sweetheart, follow the path of roses and you will find me." I followed the path to the end and I found a second card. This one said," if you thought you would find me that easy you were wrong, go to the forest, the final card is hanging from a tree, I love you!" I walk/ran to the forest. I found a note hanging from the tree. In cursive handwriting it said," You are my star, moon, and world. To you I will never desert. Follow the path to the water fall and you will find me and a special gift for my special girl." I full in ran through the water fall path. I slowed down to a walk when I saw him, the love of my life, on his knee with a small box( that was my favorite color with my name on) I started to cry happy tears. I was so happy and surprised. When I was right in front of him he said with a shaky  voice," I love you, and I want to spend the rest of my life with you, to get straight to the point, I talked to your dad and, will you marry me?" He said popping the box open. I was crying very hard by now and I was so happy, I stopped crying long enough to let out an answer," Of course I will marry you!" He slipped the ring onto my finger and then he stood up and we embraced for a very long time. I put my hands around his neck as we kissed and he put his arms around me pulling me closer. I was so happy. We got a selfie button that was connected to his phone and when we were done kissing he set up his phone and we took a picture of us standing in front of the water fall with my hand in his chest and of us kissing. We got the ring in the picture and I send it to Allie. After that we go swimming and I get pulled under several times. By Preston. I pull him under just as much. We kiss again, his kisses can say so much when. We look each other in the eyes and at the exact same moment we say," I love you!"

Today is a day I will never forget.
