CHAPTER 2
ZIZEEX P.O.V
My alarm went off at 5 am it’s normal time (because my brothers and sisters take so freakishly long). Normally I’m happy to get up but today I knew it wasn’t gonna be a good day.
I got up and got dressed since I took a shower last night. I dressed in my black and gray striped fitted shirt, black fitted jacket, gray short-shorts with legging underneath. Then I went into my bathroom and brushed my hair and teeth and applied my make-up which consists of black eye shadow and mascara.(did I also mention I wear glasses and look mighty fine in them) I exited my room and went on one of the toughest missions I had today. Wake my brothers and sisters. I’m telling you they are the deepest sleepers I know.
I entered Zinickels room first. He was the oldest out of all my younger siblings. He’s 16.
“Wake up, Zin”. I said.
He snored in response. “Zinickels, it’s time for school, wake up”. Once again a snore. “If you don’t wake your butt up imma tell mom you been ditching school with your friends to go watch girls at the beach. With your perverted self.” That woke him up. “Why you gotta be a snitch Zy?” He asked rubbing his eyes and stretching. “I wasn’t gonna snitch just a way to wake you up.” I laughed while walking out of his room for the next person.
As you can see we do talk ghetto right when we wake up I don’t know what it is but we have done ever since we were little. It’s a little sibling habit we all share. I bet it’ll come in handy in the future.
Zichelle-Zayne was next. She’s 15 and also the 4th oldest of us 5. “Zellie, school.” She groaned and sat up. Guess she heard me and Zin. “I hate school. When will the torture end?” She complained, walking to her closet. “Someone’s crappy today.” I said hugging her.”Tell me about it.” Were the last words she said before I walked out of her room.
ZiNavi was next, 14 years old. When I walked in she was already getting dressed. “Good morning little sister.” I said kissing her forehead. “Morning but not good.” She groaned.
Last but not least was Zabrieloan. He’s 15 but he and Zichelle aren’t twins nor are he and Zinickels since he’s almost 16 and Zin just turned. Their not triplets either. It’s a rare birth. Born months apart but still end up being the same age. It’s confusing but when you’re me you understand and try to explain it to others…its complicated.
“Hey bro, what’s up? Having a bad morning too?” Me and him were the closest. “Yeah, but a little better since I seen you first today.” He said with a small smile. “Awww!!” I said while giving him a noogie. “Hey stop!! It’s way too early in the morning to wrestle with you.” he laughed and kicked me out of his room.
Ok I know your thinking ‘that’s a little weird of him to say that. Are you guys closer than you should be?’ the answer to that question is no we are not. He just likes me better than the rest, hehe. I’m special like that. No, but really, we all take turns waking each other up that’s why he said that. Since there’s 5 days in a school week and there’s 5 of us we each get a day. Smart huh? I bet you also noticed we all started off with a bad morning.
It’s this thing with us, we all feel it. One has a bad morning we all have a bad morning. Ones in trouble the rest are on their way. Sibling connection due to our angelic powers it’s also with…other…emotions too. I think you can take a guess.
I walk down the stairs to the kitchen to make me and my siblings some food. Sausage and egg sandwich. By the time I was done with that it was 6:45.
They still weren’t down.
See I told you they take freakishly long. School started at 7:30. We all go to the same school but we barely see each other, and when we do it’s a quick hug and “see you when you get home.” That’s why you don’t see us arguing and fighting at home.
“Guys, come on we’re gonna be late. You know it takes 20 minutes to get to school. And ZiNavi don’t make me leave you here.” I called upstairs.
Not even a minute later I hear feet running down the stairs. I didn’t even have to look up to know it was Zinickels. “You got a test today. You study?” He groaned “Yes, MOM I studied.””I’m not your mom. You want your mommy go upstairs.” I said. He and I have our differences but we still get along pretty good. “Love you too.” He said kissing me on the side of the head and giving me a side hug. Before he pulled away he quickly ruffled my hair, grabbed a sandwich, and ran away laughing. “Uggh, Zinnie what have I told about my hair!!!!” I yelled straightening up. He hates it when I call him ‘Zinnie’. “I’m not a girl Ziz” he yells back clearly ruffled by the nickname. “You sure look like one.” I say under my breath looking to see if he heard me. “I heard that.” ”Damn it” I say silently snapping my fingers.
ZiNavi comes down the stairs looking good like she always does.
“You ready now?” I question her hoping her answer is yes. “yeah let’s go” she says before taking a bite out of her sandwich.
“Zabrieloan and Zichelle get down here and eat, you turtles, You make us late you’ll pay when you get home” I yell. I hear them skip stairs coming down, they understand that threat…all too well. We never leave each other behind.
“Unbelievable.” I say when they finally reach the kitchen. “Hey, beauty is perfection.” Zichelle said. I rolled my eyes. “But you look good all the time, due to the fact of being heavenly, it shouldn’t take that long.” I complain. I turn to Zabrieloan, whose eyes widen probably thinking since we are so close, I won’t grill him too. “And you, you’re a boy, really?!” He just shrugs, smiles my favorite smile, takes a bite out of his sandwich, and walks away. He knew I didn’t have anymore to say to him. I roll my eyes. ‘Boys’ I thought to myself. I yell ‘Good-bye’ to my parents who were most likely just getting up, and walked out the door.
Before I got to my car, an Mercedes SLK Roadster 2012, chocolate brown, I got a text from my grandparents (both pairs) saying they were coming over tonight for dinner and maybe staying the night, which was ok with me since we own a mansion and I love my grandparents (once again both pairs). I text back saying ok and that I might be late since I had to go to the library for a paper. After texting back and forth for a few I got in my car and headed to school.
