"So you're sure you're okay?" Mertle asked through the phone.

"I'm fine Grandpa. The Doctor said that there was a little stress, but nothing bad happened to the twins."

"Well, I'm glad you're all okay."

"Speaking of being okay, how's Al?"

"Still in a coma. Nothing has really changed. If he doesn't wake up in a few months, I'll be coming home."

I sighed.

"Ok. I got to go."

"Tell Eric I say hi."

"I will."

I hung up the phone, and wobbled to the couch.

"How are you doing Ariel? Need anything?" Alan's mom asked.

"I'm fine."

"You're due anytime. I'm just making sure."

"I know. Thanks. Yeah-Yeah and the others have been focused on school. I wish I was there with them."

"Honey, we don't know when you're water is going to break."

"I guess having my water break in school would be bad."

She laughed.

"But you didn't have to take off work. I could've called if anything happened."

"Ariel, I haven't been able to take care of a child since Yeah-Yeah was 10."

"He wanted to be man." I finished.

"He's told you everything, hasn't he?"

"That I know of."

"You know he really loves you."

"I know. I'm just scared for these children."

"Why?"

"I want to be there for them. I want them growing up in a nice home and environment."

"I felt the same way when I was pregnant with September. I thought I wasn't going to be able to be there for her, and I thought that the town we lived in wasn't safe. But once she was born I was so happy, I didn't worry about anything else, except caring for her and loving her."

"Do you ever regret having Yeah-Yeah?" I laughed.

"I would love to say all the time."

"But in the end you don't."

"I love having my children. It makes life pretty good."

"Except when they drive you crazy."

"That's where us men come in. When the children go crazy the girls just hand them off to us and walk away." Alan's dad said walking in.

"How was work?"

You see, Alan's dad worked in the city, an hour or two from us. He stayed at his brother's house for three days, and then came home for a few.

"Tiring. I'm glad I get to come home to you wonderful people."

He kissed her and kissed the top of my head. It was normal, as I was becoming more and more into their family.

"What would you like for lunch Ariel?"

"Mmm, anything! I love your cooking."

She smiled and walked towards the kitchen.

I went to move, when I felt something move down my leg.

"I would wait on that food."

"Why's that?" she asked.

"My water just broke."

*At the school*

*Yeah-Yeah's POV*

History class. Ugh.

I would much rather be playing baseball, and hanging out with Ariel.

Ariel. I missed spending time with her.

I didn't get taken out of my day dreams, until there was a knock on the door.

"Mr. Lock, can I see Alan-"

"Dude Ariel's having your kids! Lets go!" Ham yelled running in the class.

I ran out the door and to the front where they were waiting.

"Yeah-Yeah stop running like a duck and get your ass in this car before we leave you!" Ariel yelled.

The boys and I piled into the car and Mom sped to the hospital.

*at the hospital in a room*
*Ariel's POV*

"Get these children out of me!"

"She's already dilated enough. We need a doctor!" A nurse yelled into the hall.

Yeah-Yeah reached his hand out to me and I grabbed it.

"You ready to have your babies Ariel?" A doctor asked walking in the room.

"Doc, if I may, they aren't just my babies."

I smiled towards Yeah-Yeah.

"They're our babies."

*after the pushing and stuff cause I'm lazy*

"Can we see them now?" Benny asked.

"Calm down Benny. They need to clean them and stuff." September said.

"Did it hurt?" Brielle asked?

"Like a bitch," I laughed, "but it was all worth it."

"How do you feel Ariel?" The Doctor asked.

"Tired. Hungry. But I really want to see my kids again."

"You mean our kids?" Yeah-Yeah said walking in with one in his arms, followed by a nurse with the other.

"Aww." The others said.

"Everyone, I would like you to meet Peter and Belle. The new additions to the Sandlot gang."
