A High School Drama Queen

Oh really? That's how you feel?

The next day at school I was happy to know that no one knew that CJ and I were dating. When I reached my friends I walked passed all of my friends and just waved 'Hi' to them. I looked ahead of me to the one person I was looking forward to seeing this morning. CJ. I walked up to CJ and gave him the biggest bear hug ever. He hugged me back

"Good morning sexy," he whispered in my ear sending chills down my spine.

"Good morning to you too handsome," i said seductively while tracing his abs through his shirt.

I heard someone clear their throat behind us. I turned around to multiple curious stares. I blushed a little and moved to the side of CJ. I kept a tight hold on him as he wrapped his arm around my lower back.

"So are you guys together or just hooking up," Marques asked raising his eyebrow with curiosity.

Marques and I had a 'thing' back in middle school. He had had a crush on me since 3rd grade and had asked me to be his girlfriend for 2months straight every year until 7th grade when i finally gave into his persistence.

"We're together," CJ proudly announced to our nosey group of friends.

*Ring ring ring* The 5 minute bell rang. CJ grabbed my hand and he lead me to my first class.

When we reached my class he gave me a hug and walked away. To say tge least, I was a little disappointed that he didnt give me a kiss.

Later that day

My phone vibrated in my pocket. I saw I had a text from him.

'Hey cutie.'

My fingers attacked the keyboard of my touch screen phone.

'Hey ;D'

'What's up?'

'Nothing really. Just doing my homework. '

'Oh. Not very fun. Can I tell u something?'

'Yeah! Sure!'

'I'm a little mad at you.'

'What? Why?' I exclaimed through text.

'Because you didn't give me a kiss today.'

I sighed with relief that it wasn't anything serious.

'Well I didn't know you wanted a kiss.'

'Oh. Well I got you next time.'

That was the end of our conversation. I had fallen asleep on him.

*The next day*

CJ and I were cuddled up while talking to some of our friends. I looked up and realized Lamont had been looking at me. Well not looking more like gawking at me. I immediately looked at CJ who was giving Lamont the death stare. I grabbed CJ's chin and pulled his face towards me so that I could break the stare down.

CJ decided to walk me to my first period class. I had my arms wrapped around his neck and pulled him in for a hug. When he pulled away he looked behind me then leaned in for a kiss. I kissed him back. When he left I turned around and saw Lamont standing and staring at me with rage in his eyes about 8 feet away from me. How long was he standing there?

The next day was Saturday. I had a swim meet that lasted until 5 p.m. When I got home I noticed I had a text from CJ saying the 4 words no one likes to see. We need to talk. I texted him back.

'Ok? About what?'

'I feel like we are rushing this relationship.'

Rushing? Relationship? Its only been 3 days and we kissed once. Last time I checked we weren't even in a relationship yet it hasn't even been a week let alone 3 months.

'Umm...ok? So are you saying you want to break up?' I replied.

'Just remember it's not you it's me.'

Does this guy seriously have a thing with clichés?

'Right well. I'll see you around school I guess.'

'I want you to know I will always have a place for you in my heart.'

I decided to not text him back because I was tired and he was annoying the shit out of me.

My weekend went by with a breeze. I rocked the single status on Facebook all day Sunday.

On Monday I arrived to school in turquoise floral pants, a white bandeau, a turquoise, sheer top, and white sandals. As I made way to my friends with Rae Rae(Raelynn) on my right and Daejah on my left I saw a girl hugged up on CJ. Apparently Rae Rae and Daejah saw it too because they both tried to get me to turn around and walk the other way.

"Hahaha. Ladies chill out. I'm not about to let that opp(enemy) and his thot(hoe) ruin my day." I giggled.

I walked up to CJ and our other friends and as soon as CJ saw me I turned to Bryant, Greshawn, David, and Lamont and began talking to them becoming the center of their attention. I could tell CJ was jealous but I didn't care at all because if he wants to be shady, guess what? Two can play that game.
