Moving on

Sorry guys for not updating. I hate writers block. Okay, well here is chapter 4 hope you all like it.

The one thing on Lucy's mind at the moment was her grandparents. The only people in her life that she truly cared about. Then an evil thought arose in this little girl. 'These evil people took them away from me. They will pay.' Lucy was no longer herself. She was no longer the sweet and innocent girl she once was. Eventually Lucy caught up to the people that she saw running out of her house. She wanted to make them suffer the way she had been suffering. She hovered above the herd of men and waiting for the right moment to strike her prey. Just as Lucy was coming up with a plan to kill them all, the men stopped and set up camp. Lucy knew that she wouldn't have any greater opportunity to strike them, right at that moment . As Lucy went to pull out her sword that was at her side, a memory interrupted her evil thoughts.

Flashback:

"Grandpa! Grandpa! Can you teach me how to fight with the sword? Pretty please!" Lucy said while running up to her grandfather, at the time she was only 5. Her grandfather chuckled as he saw his granddaughter run with a huge sword at her tow.

"Sure! Although, you need to learn some things before you can carry that sword."

"Okay grandpa start your lessons!" Lucy giggled at her grandpa thinking 'it shouldn't be that hard to learn'

The old man chuckled at the little girls enthusiasm. " Okay my child, the first lesson is finding out the true weight of the sword."

" True weight?" Lucy questioned.

"Yes, this means that a sword is not for fighting and wining, it is about protecting the people that you love." The old man told the wide eyed Lucy.

Lucy seemed to not quite understand the saying and ask her grandfather. "Well what if someone hurts your family? Then what? Can't you get back at them?"

"NO!" the old man said with a stern face. Lucy surprised a her grandfather's tone. He proceeded to kneel down to Lucy and placed his hand on top of her head.

"Look here my child, if anything where to happen to me or your grandmother, taking revenge on someone will never bring back the dead. Understand? That should never be a choice. Always take the path of forgiveness never evil. I will tell you something that you shall carry throughout your life. Have courage and be kind. Do you understand?"

Lucy looked at her grandfather and shook her head. The old man laughed and said, "one day when you're older you will understand, for now, lets start your training"

Lucy looked overjoyed to be training with her grandfather. Quickly she became the best swords woman in the village and she was only 8 years old.

Flashback End:

Lucy looked down at the men that had set up camp and they where all hudled around he fire. She could hear what they where saying.
"What are we going to do?!"
"We didn't think that would happen!"
"Ughhh our families are going to be so disappointed, but we have to turn ourselves in. We must. We didn't mean to set that house on fire it just happen so fast" "I think we should go back and face our punishment"
"Agreed?" 
"Agreed." 
All the men decided that they would return in the morning to check up on those kind people to see if they were alright. You see all they did was give them a place to sleep and then one of the guys knocked over a lamp and caught the whole place on fire. They didn't mean to but they would face their crimes and help rebuild.
Lucy felt horrible. She wanted revenge and that was it. She didn't even think about what happened. 'Ok I shall move on. I will not kill innocent people. I will keep my promise grandpa.' Lucy thought to herself as she left to go back home.
