Lucy had managed to follow the group of people all the way back to her house without being seen. She went in to her house through a back window. She ran everywhere making sure everyone of her friends got out and no one else was dead.
As she turned a corner she heard a voice. She froze and the deep voice. She turned around and saw a person she didn't recognize but oddly knew from somewhere.
Then the man spoke again and said "Lucy? Is that you?" The girl looked puzzled for a moment and replied "yes, my name is Lucy but how are you?" The man looked shocked but then looked at her with understanding. "I am your father. I have come back because I heard that you are a great sword women and so young. Just like your mother." The little girl was shocked to finally meet the man that wrote the letter she hear every night. She then ran to her father arms stretched wide and tears in her eyes.
They embraced and nothing could change that moment.
A few days later they berried both of her grandparents on the tallest mountain, right next to each other. The whole town pitched in and rebuilt her house. Her father stairs and told her many storied of his journeys around the world. He made a good living as a merchant so he used that money to make sure that Lucy grew up with the best of everything. The best cloths, the best teachers everything. she grew up having everything she wanted except her father. he never had time for her because of his job. sometimes he would leave her to go traveling again. Even though she had everything she was humble. she remembered her promise to her grandfather and always had courage and was kind to all. She also loved sword fighting. She practiced everyday. Although she never told her dad about her powers. She was going to but she knew if she did, her father would either sell her or make her do magic tricks for money. she knew that money didn't buy you happiness.
10 years had pasted since the night her life changed she had grown into a beautiful 18 year old. She was the best swords women on the island and she had mastered her magic all by herself. She mastered how to fly, read minds, summon stars as weapons, and even walk threw walls. Her favorite though was bringing swords out of mid air. She loved fighting so much that she taught herself every style of fighting she could find in the local library. she had become famous on the island for being beautiful and strong. Of course, the existence of a girl like her could not be hidden from the rest of the world for long.
The news of her strength and beauty reached the ears of an old man that lived just across the sea from that little island. This man was no ordinary man though. He was more important than a prince or even a king.
Back at the island, Lucy found a strange letter in the mail. it looked like it has come from across the sea. it was well decorated with gold trim on the edges and a rather strange seal on it. Lucy looked at in curiously and took it in the house.
