Jeremy
As I woke up, I sat up suddenly, shaking my head. Now that was the strangest dream I had ever had.
Though I had a feeling one of the girls if I went back into the dream she'd be there, but I didn't know if she was real or not, whereas the other girl... I had this feeling that she was real.
"What am I going to do?" I asked myself. I sighed as I cleared up my stuff putting it back into my backpack and started walking, not knowing where I was going but knowing who I had to find.
Or at least what they were like, knowing they were more powerful than my father. Though that was all I knew about this person. Which is a great thing, not.
I walked for hours and hours until I came to a town, a very modern one.
"Huh, I didn't realise there was a town near." I said to myself.
And so I walked towards the town until I finally came to a neighbourhood within the town.
I walked through the neighbourhood, I had never been outside that castle, or hardly been outside and now that I was outside and I was away I felt free, and it felt strange to be there. But at the same time, it felt right, it felt like I was meant to be here.
Like the person I was looking for was here, it was strange, but I knew something felt different.
So, as I walked past different places, I decided to go into a coffee shop. I needed the break, I had been walking for hours, what felt like days.
I walked into the coffee shop and just ordered a decaf coffee mostly because I had never had anything else and so I wanted to try it, it seemed like it would be nice.
And I wasn't surprised when I was right. I mean I had had coffee before but this was much sweeter.
"Thanks honey," the woman said as she gave me the coffee. I nodded in thanks before going to sit down, when a girl and her mother came into the shop.
I only saw the back of her head her voice reminded me of something and I didn't know where I knew it from.
"Hi, can I have a hot chocolate and a decaf coffee, please," she said, smiling at the woman.
"Course darling," the woman replied, "sit down and I'll bring it over to you."
And that's what she did. What I did, was finish off my coffee and then started to leave when I saw that when the woman came over to give them their drinks. Then I saw the decaf being given to the girl, I thought I knew the voice of.
It was a coincidence that she decided to have the same type of coffee same, surely. Or maybe not.
Maybe it was the person I needed to find.
I shook my head ignoring it, it couldn't be the person that I was looking for, she didn't look like she had magic. She looked normal, she looked anything but unusual, with powers that could defeat my father.
I continued to leave the coffee shop and decided to book a room in a hotel in the town if I could find one. And I did.
A/N: hope you enjoyed! If you did please leave a vote or comment telling me what you liked about it and I will post the next chapter soon. Also sorry it's a bit short, I wanted the length to be varied and since this book won't be very long anyway I want it to be at least the length of a novella which is around 18,000 words or something? So it'll probably be at least twenty chapters or so. Or nineteen and a epilogue, something like that. Also I'm sorry it took so long, I've been busy writing my other story "Looks". Also I'll be writing another story called "When We Were Young" so look out for that when its out.
