Gina
Did I just here him right, soulmate?"Did I just here you right?" I asked, "soulmate, really?" I raised an eyebrow, and he chuckled.
"Crazy, right?" He replied, I just nodded shocked, "turns out, whoever is this person is, is my soul mate, and we're sort of like kindred spirits."
I giggled at that, "huh, Kindred Spirits, sounds cool. So you're saying if I'm the one with the magic that means-" I started but he cut me off,
"Yes that means exactly what you think it means."
"-we're soulmates. Kindred Spirits."
"Right."
"Huh." I said, before smiling. "If I found someone, I always wanted someone who was like me." I looked at him, "I guess you'll do." I said, rolling my eyes playfully."
"'I guess you'll do'?" He asked, "really? You literally just called me a young Killian Jones, I'm basically the real life version of someone who isn't fictional, and isn't currently dating Emma Swan."
"Even if he was real, they're my life." I said, putting my hand over my heart. "I would never break them up, ever." I shrugged.
"Because you love them together, right." He chuckled and shook his head.
"Maybe try out what you think you could do, just try something."
"I am not going to try any-" I was cut off as he came towards me, I screamed, looking away and held out my hands and all I felt was something pushing him away, and then slamming him against the wall. I looked back and saw him unconscious. "Oh my god, oh my god, can you hear me?" I asked him, I closed my eyes and thought of him, "please wake up," I whispered, kissing his head, and all a sudden a power came over me and I just felt something. Not just anything, magic.
I gasped and he suddenly woke up.
"Are you okay?" I asked him, "how-how are you awake I-I don't understand." I whispered.
"You saved me, I was unconscious and you saved me, by... Kissing me?" He asked.
"I guess, it couldn't exactly be true love kiss, you weren't under a curse." I giggled, he smiled and I sighed, "I'm just glad you're okay," I said, "you are okay, aren't you?"
"Of course, of course I'm okay. You saved my life." He sat up and looked me in the eyes, and I mean really looked at me.
He leaned in and kissed my cheek before whispering in my ear, "I owe you one."
"Well can you at least tell me your name again?" I asked, "when we left each other, I just sort of forgot your name."
He chuckled, "Jeremy, just Jeremy."
I giggled, "oh yeah, just Jeremy. Well seeing as we know we're soulmates, you wanna figure out what that means?" I asked.
"Sure, and how are we going to do that?" He questioned.
I bit my lip and looked down, "by doing this," I said, pulling him to me and gently kissed him. I gasped as I just felt something inside me spark, like it was meant to be.
I pulled away, "did you-"
"-feel that? Yeah. Yeah I did. Are you okay?"
"Yeah, I just never thought I could find someone who could understand me like Millie always did."
"Well I guess you have me now Gina, you don't have anything to be afraid of. If you don't want anything to happen between us since we just met and all, it doesn't have to mean anything we can just figure it out, alright?" He said, "I'm not big on dating when I've just met the person either, don't worry. And I know it's hard since you've just lost your best friend, but I'm not going to leave anytime soon."
I hugged him, "thank you Jeremy, that means a lot to me," I pulled away and he stroked my cheek. I cleared my throat and pulled away from him completely and stood up, helping him up after.
"You alright."
"I'm fine, I need to go talk to my mom, stay here. I'll be back, I'm not going to leave you for long." He smiled at me and I walked out of the cave and to where my mom was, in my house.
As soon as I walked into my house my mom ran up to me and squeezed me tight, "where the hell were you?"
"Nowhere I just needed to think, cause I was feeling down about Millie." I explained, which was partly true.
"Anything else?"
"What do you mean?" I asked, innocently.
"Is there anything else you haven't told me."
I began to shake my head but stopped when she gave me the look and I sighed, "I met a guy after something happened, he's different and actually kinda sweet."
"What do you mean different?" She asked, suspicious.
"Does it even matter, it's my life not anyone else's."
"I'd like to at least approve of someone before you start dating."
"It's kinda complicated, if I told you what he told me you'd never believe me and you wouldn't even consider meeting him."
"Just tell me honey," she said, touching my shoulder, "please."
"Fine, he said that-" I started but got interrupted when someone burst in, and not just anyone, Jeremy.
"Gina, hi... Um we need to go." He said.
"Why?" I asked, and then he gave me a look and I sighed, hugged my mom, "I'll talk to you later." I kissed her cheek and followed Jeremy out of my house.
"You can't tell her, at least not yet, because the less she knows the less likely he's to come after her, after he figures out you're the key to defeating him."
I sighed, "I haven't the slightest clue how to deal with this."
"We'll deal with it together alright, no matter what I won't let my father hurt you, not while I'm still alive."
I smiled, and giggled slightly, looking down, "t-thank you, Jeremy."
"It's alright." I looked up at him and kissed his cheek,
"Really it means a lot," I whispered, and I felt the spark again, like it felt like what a true loves kiss would feel like.
"No problem," he replied his voice suddenly deep and very sexy, wow it was attractive.
"I'll er see you later," I said, clearing my throat. He did the same,
"Yeah." I turned to go inside when he grabbed my hand, "can I have your number?"
"Mmhm," I said as he handed over his phone, I typed in my phone number and giggled,
"I'll see you later," I said again, "goodnight." I said,
"Night." He grinned, before I turned around and went inside to my house went upstairs to my room and slowly fell asleep.
For the first time in ages I slept peacefully and soundly. I also dreamt, but not just of anything, of him of Jeremy, and it was under my control unlike the last time I had a dream that he was in where I had no control in what happened.
