I walk back into the room to see Drake changing. Let my tell you my face got red as a tomato and my eyes popped out of my socket. I walked in fast and closed the door behind me staying put looking straight at the door and no where else. " I am so sorry I didn't know you were changing." I should have knocked before entering I feel so horrible. Even though nothing was showing I mean he had his boxers on but still. I can hear him chuckling behind me. "Just give me a sec."

I hit my head against the door a couple time mentally trying to remind myself to knock the next time this happens. "You can look now." he says.

I turn around slowly and just smiled slightly as he had a big grin on his face. "This is so not funny." I pointed out. I walked to the laundry basket near my suitcase and but my dirty clothes in there and Drake watched my every move as I did so. "What!" I asked putting my hands on my hips.

"Nothing you just look really cute being embarrassed and all." he laughed. I grabbed a clean shirt and threw it at him and that just made him laugh harder.

"Anyways! Does your mother have a problem with people ranked lower than her?" I asked nervously afraid of the answer.

"Why, did something happened?" he wondered.

"No, no nothing like that. I was just curious mostly because how she looked at me earlier on the beach. And I know you told me to ignore it, but it still got me worried on how she will react once she find out who I am." I turned around mostly to avoid eye contact and I just stared straight at the sea as he took in what I said.

"When the time comes we will worry about it. I honestly don't think my mothers thoughts are as important right now. Because no matter what she thinks or say it doesn't bother me and it goes in one ear out the next most of the time. I learned that the hard way, so please believe me when I tell you 'she is the least of your worries on this trip' If something does happen don't engage. Come to me first and I will deal with her, arguing with her would just make it worse" He turned me around so I would be facing him and by looking into those beautiful blue eyes I can tell he was being honest. "Just focus on everyone else who I know you would love and adore. They will love you to I promise."

I looked up and smiled finally having the nerves go away. "Pinky swear?" i smirked lifting my pinky making him laugh.

"Pinky swear. Now lets go meet the rest of the family shall we."

He extended his hand out to me for me to grab and I gradually accepted.

He assured me that I was going to be amazing, I had nothing to fear about and I really hope he is right. We walked down the long staircase, which by the way felt like forever before we finally reach the bottom. We entered the living room and all the chattering and gossip stopped as soon as they saw me.

"Everyone I would like you to meet my girlfriend Brianna." Drake announced. I smiled and waved at everyone trying to be polite and nice.

"Hi Brianna it is so nice to finally meet you. Drake talked about you so much we couldn't get him to stop.  He was right about one thing though you are beyond beautiful," she chuckled.

I smiled not knowing what else to do because I didn't know who she was.

"Oh my god where are my manners, I am the devils spawn sister Phoebe." she said hugging me and I happily hugged her back smiling. "Pleasures all mine." I pulled away and gave her a generous smile.

"Brianna this is my grandmother Bell. Grandma this is Brianna." She smiled and reached her hand out to me, grabbing it she put her other hand on top on mine. " It is so nice to finally meet you sweetheart. Yesterday Drake would not stop talking about you to me, I am happy to finally hear and see him this joyful. Thank you." I smiled and looked at Drake blushing.
I turned back to the grandma and rubbed her palm with my free hand. "Your grandson has made me so happy and free since I met him ma'am. He is the one I should be thanking and I will forever be grateful to the lord himself for sending him my way during hard times." she kissed my palm and nodded her head at me. I pulled away and looked at Drake and he pulled me back to standing. "You already know my mother Connie." he said gesturing to where she was sitting. I nodded my head to her smiling and she completely ignored me and went back to a conversation with a woman next to; Whose name is still unknown. I just have to ignore it like Drake said, I just hope she comes around.

I felt my hand being ripped from Drakes and being dragged away into the kitchen.

"Don't kill her now!" I heard Drake yell chuckling.

I looked back to see him wink at me. I really didn't get what the big deal was, she just needs someone to talk to right. Right?

She poured us some red wine and sat us down at the bar. "It is finally nice to have another girl in the family. Its just been me, my mother, and my grandma in this house. Of course we have the usual cousins and friends that come over but its not really the same because when they are not here it gets really boring. It is just finally nice that I can talk to someone other than my mother in the house. So tell me about yourself Brianna." She said.

I looked at her in shock. This girl can talk and talk, its kind of funny. Not In a mean way though.

"Well I am twenty-one  years old and I have only ever lived with my father since my mother had passed  when I was only two.  I do love to draw, I actually have painted portraits of my family and friends before and I would considered my work at least decent. I wanted  to get a degree for my artistic work but something did end up coming up." I told her.

"You didn't go to college?" she asked.

"No I did, but only for a year. I had to drop out when my grandparents died, my father didn't have anyone else so I had to go and take care of him." Finally taking a sip of my mind I looked back at her.

I didn't feel that I needed to tell her that my father was admitted into the hospital. For some reason I knew I had to just keep it between me and Drake. I really don't want everyone to feel bad for me, it's bad enough that Drake felt sorry I don't need them too.

"Oh I am sorry to hear that. I wouldn't know what you are going through, but I am here for you. It's just like what they say 'Even though we haven't know each other that long I feel like I have known you my whole life especially in my heart.' It is just like the movies." she said. And I just started laughing like crazy, I was laughing so hard that she looked at me like I was nuts.

"It would be nice to know you better but I don't think I would like to see you more that just a friend. Besides your getting married soon you wouldn't want to go for me right." I was still laughing at how priceless her face was. I don't think she knew what that saying really meant.

"Phoebe that saying you just said, its talking about romance. The guy is trying to tell the girl that he is in love with her and that he wants to marry her. It is not saying anything about friendship, the one your thinking about is 'Friendship isn't about who you've known the longest. Its about the one who walked into your life and said I am here for you and provided it.' At least That is what I am hoping you were trying to say." I explained it to her.

It took her awhile to understand what I was trying to tell her, but once it finally clicked she immediately screamed with laughter. "Oh my god I cant believe I just said that. I am so clueless sometimes, I tell you! So embarrassing!" she screamed.

We both started laughing together and it felt good. I haven't laughed like this in years, and to hear myself letting out this joy is just amazing and a weight lifted off my shoulders. For once I don't just feel worried or feel the responsibility I am always dreading on myself. I'm glad I can be free even if it is just for a little while.

All of a sudden we heard a shatter in the living room along with yelling all around. We completely stopped what we were doing and ran straight into the living room.

"What is going on?"
