While Sophie and Matt were driving to the game, Matt put on the radio. It started playing Sophie's favourite song of her favourite band, One Direction. They were playing History from their new album. Sophie almost stared crying because they had been helping her so much through everything. She always listened to them when she was feeling down or just wanted to feel happy. She would sing along if she was alone in the car, but since Matt was there, she couldn't do that. That would be so embarrassing for her. She looked over at Matt if he was paying attention to her, but then she noticed that he was singing along to the song.
"Matt, how do you know the words to this song?" she asked and he looked over at her, guilty.
"Me and Mike learned the lyrics because we know it's your favourite song and we wanted to sing along with you when they started playing on the radio or the TV," he answer avoiding looking back over at her. She was happy that they did that for her. They learned a boy band song just for her, so they could all sing along to it. She turned up the volume and started singing along.
You and me got a whole lot of history
We could be the greatest team that the world has ever seenYou and me got a whole lot of history
So don't let it go, we can make some more, we can live foreverSo don't let me go
So don't let me go
We can live forever
Baby don't you know
Baby don't you knowWe can live forever

Once they finished that song, more song that they knew the lyrics to came on, and the rest of the car ride was full of singing and laughing when one of them messed up the words. She loved this moments with her brothers, were she could be herself and have no care in the world. She missed them. The last few years they have become less and less. They weren't together like this anymore. Everything was so serious at the moment. Mike was getting married and Matt was finishing school. Sophie was just Sophie. Still young and had all of her life in front of herself, but she wanted to have these kinds of moments more often before they don't have time for her anymore.
"Hey Matt, can I ask you something?" she asked and looked at her brother.
"Yeah, of course you can sis."
"Ehm, do you think we can do this more often, before you leave I mean?" she asked and looked down in her own lap. Matt grabbed her hand in his and squeezed her hand a little bit.
"Of course we can. I tell you this after the game today, we go home, you take a shower and me and Mike make some food. Then when you're ready we eat food, candy and watch some movies, listen to music, whatever you want. Today is going to be sister and brothers day," he answer and looked over to her quickly before looking back at the road. A sister and brothers night. They hadn't had that in years and she missed that. They were so close before everything with him happened. She could tell them everything and they would have a solution to the problem. She missed how close she was with her brothers. She couldn't tell her mother everything she told them. Her mother would only judge her and tell her to grow up or to stand up for herself.
"How does that sound, Sophie?" Matt asked since he didn't get an answer.
"I would love it, thank you Matt," she replied and smiled to Matt. It was a real smile. Not a fake one. A real one. She hadn't done that in a while. It felt good to smile again. If it was only once today, it was okay. She felt good now. She finally could smile again. Smile for real, not just a fake smile.
Before she even realised that they were there, Matt had packed the car and was about to get out of the car. "Are you coming?" He looked at her before he closed the door. Sophie looked out the window and saw the field in front of her. She had to get out of the car, but it felt like her body was frozen. Until her car door was opened and outside stood her best friend Amanda. "Are you sure you're okay to play the game? You don't look so good," she said and looked at her best friends face, who was looking like she saw a ghost in front of her. "Yeah, I'm sure, I'm okay. Let's go," Sophie said and got out of the car. She slammed the door shut and started walking to the wardrobe to get changed into gear. Amanda followed her slowly. She didn't trust that. She could tell that something was wrong with Sophie. What if she had another nightmare about him? Sophie said they had stopped, but Amanda looked right through that fake smile. She didn't want to say anything to bring her best friend down, but she couldn't just stand back and look at her friend just falling more and more into insanity. She just couldn't. It was her best friend after all. They did everything together and told each other everything. Or so Amanda thought. She knew and understood it was hard to lose a boyfriend like that, but he was abusing and raping her. No man should do that. Not to their loved ones. If you're not happy in the relationship, just leave. Don't hit or rape, it doesn't solve anything for anyone.
They finally got into the wardrobe and started changing into gears. It was conversations all over the locker room, but the two friends kept quiet. They got their gear on and headed out to the field. There they saw their other friends on the team. It was Liam, Dan and then there was Theo. The only guy that made Sophie believe that she could fall in love again, but the thing was he already had a girlfriend. His girlfriend was Amanda. She didn't want to hurt her best friend by saying that she had a crush on her boyfriend. That's something a best friend never does. Never ever. That's breaking the law of being best friends. Sophie didn't understand their relationship though. It seemed like they were together because of the people at school. They were the couple now that everybody wanted to be. The new star couple. They didn't kiss or hold hands anymore. They would say 'love you' when they had different classes, but that was normal for their group of friends. They always said 'love you's to everybody in the group. The thing no one knew was that Sophie meant the 'love you' when she said it to Theo, but she didn't want anybody to know about it. She was to scared to fall in love again because of what happened and that it might happen again with the next one she falls in love with. If that happened she knew that she wouldn't be able to handle the emotional pain. It would become too much. She would just end her life there and then. Since no one knew about it, she wouldn't get hurt. Or she thought that no one knew about her crush. Before she put down the bag, she heard a noise coming from her phone. She took up her phone and it stood one new message. On the message it stood: I know how you feel about Theo, and be careful so I don't tell Amanda about it.....
How does he know? Who is this? Why does he keep texting me? What does he want? All of the thoughts were spinning in her head and they wouldn't go away. "Are you okay?" Theo was standing in front of her and took a hold of her shoulder. "I'm okay," she said and smiled at him. This smile was as fake as it could be. She knew she wasn't okay, but she had to pretend. Just for a little bit longer. She would talk to Matt and Mike later about the texts. Maybe they knew what to do. They always have an answer to everything. Yeah, they would know.

How do you like the story so far? And finally I have introduced some one characters and some of the more important characters. Hope you liked my plot twist that Theo, Sophie's crush, was Amanda's boyfriend, but don't worry that won't last for very long. Hope you stay tuned for the next one and keep reading and liking the way I'm writing this story. I like how it's going so far. Almost all of the characters are now introduced, except the unknown. Did you think you know who it is already? Or do you want to keep reading to find out? It's your choice and I hope you choose the last one. Idk when the next chapter is coming, but it's coming. I promise!
