I was sitting on Ray’s couch as he was telling me about his plans to move to Paris. But, I wasn’t listening to his story I was looking into his gorgeous eyes and wondering how I can make him mine. We have been friends for years but maybe in the past 2 years I have been gaining feelings for Ray that a best friend should not have.
Ray: And I’ll have four bedrooms and a big walk in closet for Shay.
As soon as I heard her name, I broke my daze on his sexy face. Shay was Ray’s girlfriend and the only thing stopping me from telling Ray my true feelings for him.
Taylor: Shay? Why you taking her with you?
Ray: Why wouldn’t I? She is my girlfriend.
Taylor: No reason.
Just then they hear keys in the door and Shay walks in.
Shay: Hey Babe
Ray: How was your day.
(Ray engulfs her in hug and they start to make out on the couch.)
Taylor: Yeah. Let’s have sex in front of the guest she don’t care.
Shay: (Quickly breaking away from Ray) Oh Taylor I didn’t ee you there.
Taylor: (Quietly to herself) Well now you do hoe.
Shay: What was that?
Taylor: I said yeah I’m here(lying my azz off)
Ray: Um so Shay why don’t you go and pack for our trip to ATL this weekend.
Shay: Yes I can’t wait to get back to my roots and see my family.
As soon as she goes, upstairs Ray’s face turns serious and he sits down.
Ray: Taylor I called you here to tell you something important.
Taylor: Oh no What is it?
Ray: Come closer
Taylor scoots closer to Ray and now they knees are touching.
Ray: Wait.
He picked Taylor up and placed her on his lap.
Taylor: Ray don’t you think this is inappropriate
Ray: It’s okay. Your just my friend not my lover
Taylor: (To herself) I wish.
Ray: Ok well um I’m going to ask Shay to marry me this weekend!
He pulls a 48-karrat diamond ring out of his pocket.
Ray: And well you being my closet friend and all I wanted your opinion
Taylor: Ray it’s it’s beautiful… she’ll love it. (Her voice cracked.)
Ray: Thanks and um your voice doesn’t sound to good are you okay?
Taylor: UM yea I just don’t feel so well I think I need to go and get some rest.
As she walks to the door Ray grabs her and gives her a kiss on the check.
Ray : Thanks for being such a great best friend.
Taylor: Bye Ray.
