Belim and Kyle had been hanging up on the wall for what felt like hours. He expected they would keep him there for a while. As he hung in silence, with Kyle, still unconscious, he thought of what his captors should do to him and how long they would keep him. At that moment, heard a guard coming downstairs. The same Trandoshan from the bar stepped out into the room.
"Well, well. I've been waiting a while to do this." He said licking his scaly lips. He pulled an electrostaff out of a nearby closet. He ignited the staff and pointed it at Belim's chest. He thrust the staff right into him. His whole body was covered in a wave of electricity. The pain was horrifyingly terrible. His torturer pulled the staff away and growled. "We know that you're a Jedi and your friend here is a Republic soldier. So, why don't you tell us why your here."
"Over my dead body!" Belim screamed.
"That can be arranged." The Trandoshan croaked. Right as he was about to jab the staff again, Groshuk jumped into the room, green lightsaber ignited. He slashed the Trandoshan's back. The lizard fell to the floor, and was stabbed right into the chest by Belim's Master. Groshuk used his saber to cut down Kyle and Belim. Kyle has still not woken up. Belim suspected he had been hit much harder.
"What happened to you?" Belim asked Groshuk.
"I was captured as well. They must've guessed that I had associates, otherwise they wouldn't have been looking for you." He responded.
"How did you escape master?" Belim asked.
   "Well, I had some help."
A young female Duros stepped into the room. To Belim, Duros weren't the prettiest of species considering everything he had seen in his life.
"Hello," she said, "my name is Rima. Good to meet you, Padawan Belim." Belim opened his mouth to speak but Groshuk spoke first. "I told her about all of us. She's a Jedi sympathizer. She works here just for the money to pay for her families food. She can help us."
Belim didn't say anything, he just nodded his head. Thankfully, Kyle began to wake up. Of course, he asked where he was and what had happened and he told him the whole story. Rima quickly led is out of the cell and down the corridor. "I can't assure you that I can get you out of the building without conflict my friends." she said. "Loakka, the crime lord, posts guards all around the facility. Escape won't be effortless."
"We can handle the fighting just lead us to where we can get our weapons." Belim demanded. "Of course." She said.
She lead them down another corridor and into a room. The room held a large assortment of weapons, including Belim's lightsaber and Kyle's blaster. They exited the room only to be facing a platoon of surprised guards. Obviously the guards hadn't expected them so Belim knew at that moment he had the upper hand. He touched into the force and sent the five guards sailing backwards through the air. Kyle drew his blaster and fired killing two of them. The others stood up and fired back. Groshuk and Belim hopped forward, igniting their green sabers. They deflected the oncoming lasers. Using them as a wall, Kyle fired his blaster between the Jedi. His shots killed the last three soldiers.
"I belive we have been discovered." mentioned Rima.
The four of them began to run down the corridors. They had almost reached the exit of the facility when a large, red Twi'lek stepped out before them.
"Loakka!" Rima warned. He ignited an electrostaff and whistled. All of a sudden, multiple assorted species appeared, carrying weapons. Kyle and Rima jumped to cover. Belim and Groshuk ignited their sabers. Lasers began flying past all around them. Belim was having trouble focusing on one at a time. Kyle began firing back and Rima pulled out a small pistol and began firing as well. The Jedi knew they could fight Loakka and all of his thugs. They needed to separate the crime lord from his soldiers. Groshuk began running in the direction they came from. Belim followed him. Kyle and Rima knew their plan and let Loakka pass, holding the rest of the thugs at bay.
Groshuk and Belim hurried down the corridor with Loakka close on their heels. Groshuk suddenly whirled around and jumped up propelling himself off the wall towards Loakka. He swung his saber but Loakka quickly blocked it. Their weapons clashes together, giving Belim and opening. He dashed towards the crime lord's hip and swung his saber. Loakka effortlessly pushed back Groshuk and deflected Belim's attack. Belim and his master blocked and onslaught of attacks from Loakka. Belim noticed that it was quite easy to block but difficult to push back. The crime lord wasn't skilled but he was strong.
Belim back flipped backwards to dodge one of Loakka's heavier attacks. Groshuk locked weapons with Loakka. Belim once again saw his opening but he knew he wouldn't underestimate his opponent this time. He swung at the crime lord's leg. He moved down to block but Belim pulled his lightsaber back, tricking Loakka. He swung upward, cutting off Loakka's arm. Groshuk pushed his saber through Loakka's chest, killing him.
"Well," Belim said panting, "that was fun." Groshuk laughed to himself.
By the time they returned to Kyle and Rima, the two of them had defeated all of the guards that had arrived. Their plan has been compromised and there was no doubt the separatist forces would arrive soon. The group began to run through the space port to get to their shuttle. They heard the sound of s rocket pack and Belim whirled around.
   "Mandolorian!" He shouted.
The Mandolorian had black armor and was equipped with a huge variety of gadgets. Kyle began to run backwards, firing shots off at the air-born attacker. The Mandolorian easily dodged each shot. He pressed a few buttons on his wrist console and the missile on his back fired out towards them. The Belim realized: the missile wasn't heading towards them at all, it was rocketing towards the shuttle.
Groshuk was the closet to the shuttle and he automatically jumped back. The missile collided with the shuttle, creating a huge explosion, blasting all of them back. "Hurry my friends," Rima called out. "I have another starship in a nearby hanger!"
The warrior lands on the ground in front of Groshuk, wrist blades extended. He swung at the Jedi Knight but Groshuk easily ducked and smacked the Mandolorian right in the stomach. The breath had been knocked out of the warrior. Belim ran and jumped over Groshuk, kicking the attacker between the eyes, cracking his helmet visor. The Mandolorian ignited his jet pack and flew into the air. Kyle fired his blaster at the Mandolorian bit missed everyone. The warrior fired his cable, wrapping up Kyle. He was pulled face first into the ground. Belim ignited his saber and sliced the cable apart.
As Belim glanced around he realized that Rima was gone. He didn't have time to think about as the Mandolorian began firing his wrist-blaster at him. Kyle was untangling himself so Belim had to defend him. Groshuk was able to deflect the blaster fire back towards the warrior. One shot hit his jet pack causing it to malfunction and stop working. The Mandolorian was on the ground and now it would be easier to take him.
The Mandolorian swung his blade at Groshuk but the skilled Jedi cut it into pieces. The warrior activated his flamethrower. Groshuk and Belim pushed out with the force pushing the Mandolorian and the flames back. Belim pulled the Mandolorian right towards both Jedi and he swung his saber at their foe's helmet. The Mandolorian ducked and was then kicked back by Groshuk. As he was kicked, he had activated his flamethrower but couldn't aim it right. He was pushed into Kyle who had just gotten up. Belim looked in horror as the flames covered Kyle's face. His face became peeled and bloody and some of his clothes had burned off. Belim lashed out towards the bounty hunter in anger flailing his lightsaber towards him. He sliced the Mandolorian multiple times, quickly killing him.
Belim stood where he was, frozen. He realized what he had done and turned to face Groshuk. His master have him a cold glare. "You are too reckless my Padawan." He said. "But I have no time to care right now. We must help Kyle."
At that moment a small medical-looking frigate flew over them blocking the moon. It landed, and Rima stepped out. Opened her mouth to speak but then saw Kyle on the ground. Gasping for breath. His lungs have to have been heavily damaged, restricting breathing.
"We must get this poor man onboard if we want him to survive. Hurry, both of you!" Rima gasped. They both helped him up and brought him onto the ship. He was laid down in a bed and many medical droids came to help. Belim wanted to stay and help but the scene was horrific. The dead skin had to be peeled of his face and surgery was required to keep him alive. As he left a droid turned to him and Groshuk. "He may not survive these wounds. We will do what we can but his lungs and his throat are damaged. We won't be able to keep him alive very long." It said to them. Groshuk turned away, a serious look on his face. Belim didn't want to loose Kyle. Ever since he was a Padawan to Groshuk, Commander Kyle had always been a powerful ally and a very close friend. He felt alone and angry. Like he wanted to make someone pay, make them suffer for it. He knew he shouldn't feel that way and it was forbidden but he couldn't help but be angry. Belim sat in the cockpit, looking into space. He looked towards the planet and quietly whispered to himself, "goodbye Boz Pity." A tear fell down his face.
