Luke's POV

I walk down to the basement to interrogate Jace again and see what kind of information I can get without Sky here. I nod at the guard as he opened the door, I walk in and saw Jace sitting in his steel chair with his head down. I grab a chair and set it in front of him while I sat in it I place both of my arm on the arms of the chair as I get comfortable. I try to look into his eyes but they were focused on the ground and not on me.

I sigh " You need to tell me who is after Sky" I ask, his eyes are still focused on the floor.

" If you cooperate with me I will do the best I can to get your family back" I say trying to encourage him to talk. but still nothing.

" Who is after Sky" I ask again. Jace's head slowly lifts up until his fiery green eyes meet mine.

" Everybody"

Sky's POV

" Shit!" I curse when I saw the men in the black suits. I desperately look for an escape route but we were surrounded by tall buildings. Both of the men step forward a couple feet before stopping. I growl as lowly as I can, threatening them to take another step. They both look at each other and back at us.

" This can turn out peacefully if you just surrender, Sky" He says with a grin. I just get in attack position ready to strike at any moment.

" Like hell I would" I spat hoping that they would sense my hostility. I could also sense that they were demons, just by the way they smell like hell, I once had a demon friend and he smelled just like them. One of them pulled out a gun and something in me cracked, I found myself shifting into my wolf form without my command.

Ari! what did you do? I ask my wolf but nothing in return.

I snap and growl viciously at the two men before I saw a blond wolf walk to my side. I knew it was Cierra because of her scent and because she was the only other wolf with me. I glance back at the two men who were holding out their guns and both of them were pointed at me. I snarl as I charge and pounce on the first man while Cierra did the same to the second. Mine dodged my attack and stood to the side calmly. I look to the side to see Cierra's wolf body contracting in pain. I look over to the man, his glasses were off and his eyes were bright red, and before I could attack I felt a pinch on my neck before the world around me went black.

My eyes fluttered open to only see white. I lift my body in a sitting position, I look around to see a white room with the white bed that I was on and a table with tools on them. But my attention is brought to a big mirror on the wall. I walk to the mirror and stopped before I was within inches of the mirror. I heard whispers on the other side. What were they talking about? I clutch my fists and just before I was about to smash the mirror a voice spoke.

Go on break it. The darker side of me said.

You need to fight back. She said.

I clutch my fists again and slam it into the mirror, The mirror shifted before breaking into a million pieces. Then I woke up.

Luke's POV

I gathered a few guards before I went out to the garage and got into my red mustang before taking off. My heart was jumping out of my chest, after Jace told me that every species was after Sky I left the room in hot pursuit of my mate. I was practically speeding down the road to the mall until I see the black mustang parked in an alleyway. The car comes to an abrupt stop as I jump out of the car and run up to the mustang, I open the door hoping to see Sky and Cierra but they were not in sight. I curse lowly as I slam the car door and try to find a trace of her sent. Then I notice a piece of her white fur on the ground that was overlapped with the scent of smoke. I whip my head up when I hear someone gaining closer, I growl out in warning before I saw it was Cierra. Hope flared up in me when I saw her but it was destroyed when I saw that Sky wasn't with her as she ran towards me.

Her eyes were overflowing with tears as her body clashes into mine.

" I'm so sorry! I tried to follow them!" She says as she slides to the ground and cups her face with her hands " I tried" She hicks while sobbing.

I found my heart cracking and twisting by the thought of Sky being taken by demons, after Cierra told me how she and Sky were followed at the mall and cornered, I mind-linked all the guards to find her while I followed the stench of demons but found that the trail was cut off by some unknown force. Leaving me with nothing, no sent, and no clue of where my mate would have been taken to. But I swear on my life that I will find you wherever you went and make sure that you are safe in my arms.

I won't stop till I find you, Sky.
