Love Bond -Act IV-

A week has passed and I'm feeling a tad better and my headache is slowly fading.Maya was kind enough to visit me everyday for the first three days of my absence from class.And Offcourse she's also busy preparing my birthday event.I mean we are just going to some fancy restaurant with her parents and my mom and sister.

"I'm so excited~" Maya singsang holding onto my arm as we walk down the pathway towards her house.Usually we'd take the bus home but Maya wanted a change in scenery so decided to take a long walk home.

"About what?" I rose my eyebrow as I looked at her and she returned with a frown.

"You got to be kidding me!" She stood infront of me and was pointing a finger at me,I remained indifferent,"It's like your freaking birthday tomorrow!"

I laughed and ruffled her hair,"I thought you were acting hyperly weird again."

She shrugged as she took her position by my side,arms wrapped around mines."I miss walking like this." She sighed contentedly as she leaned her head on my shoulder.

I turned my head slightly as I took a quick sly glance at her,she had her eyes closed and was smiling.We came to a stop and she was still in the same position but she fluttered her eyes and looked at me.

"Happy birthday willy."

I smiled at the nickname,sure I'd get laughed at before but I didnt really care."Its tomorrow."

She pouted,"Be excited for once!"

"Its just a birthday." As long as I get to spend it with her,that's all that matters.

"Aww..be a little bit enthusiastic for once!" She whined swinging my arms back and forth.

"Okay..yay!!" I did a fake high-pitch squeal pprobably making me look like an idiot,Maya immediately started laughing and I glared at her,she covered her mouth with her hand covering her contagious laughter.

"Okay there.Let's go now,we're here already." I tugged her hand as we started to approach the pathway towards her house.She didnt move making me look back at her.

"Why dont we invite your friends for your little celebration."Maya suggested as she poked my sides,I groaned pulling her wrists to stop.

"I dont want to."

She frowned,"Why? Theyre your friends.And you never invite them,ever."

"Your the only friend I consider real.Theyre just accquaintences I make at school." I shrugged.

A bright playful smile took charge,"Erika would be devastated to find out that she's just an accquaintence."

I blinked,"Who?"

She stomped at the ground and huffed at me,"Your so mean!!"

"No.Im not."

she crossed her arms as she turned her back at me,"You should invite them."

"Why? I have my bestfriend already,why the crowd?" I frowned.

She sighed and slowly turned to look at me,"Im sorry.Its your birthday and I shouldnt force you to invite people you dont want too."

I pulled her into a hug,"Its no big deal.Now stop bugging me and let's drop you home."

She looked up at me still in my arms,"So....no inviting others?" She smiled sheepishly.

"Why are you so adamant on inviting others.You were'nt this persistent last year and the years before?" I questioned.

Her eyebrows furrowed and she hesistantly spoke,"No reason."
