To say the three days flew by is an understatement. They flashed by. So quickly I don't remember even living them.

Bright and early on the 15th, Macy was bright eyed, bushy tailed and standing in the middle of my living room with a suitcase on each side of her. Happily chanting a list of things to do in the amazons as I packed. "We could go zip lining. And they have tours throughout certain parts of forest!" She squealed with excitement. My grandma came through our front door. She had just got done with her early morning walk. "Hey grandma" I said not taking my eyes off the suitcase I was packing "Becca! You look dead do you need me to make you a cup of coffee before you leave your old grandma for 2 weeks?" I looked up and she winked at me. My grandma could be very sarcastic. "Hello Ms.grey! You look wonderful" Macy chirped. "You as well Macy" my grandma replied smiling I will admit. Even though it was 4:45 in the morning. Macy had on a light blue v-neck shirt and ripped skinny jeans, and white high top converse and was totally rocking it. "I'm going to make coffee for you two ladies. I'll be right back." My grandma scurried off to the kitchen. "Anyways" Macy continued. "Sonnie should be here at 5. We are stopping at a Walmart to pick up anything we might've forgotten or anything we need..." She stopped to breathe. "Macy calm down. I know. You've emailed me the list 3 times." She giggled and crashed down into the black leather couch behind her. "I'm sorry. I'm just so excited. I've never been to a rain Forest. Its gonna be great. Think of all the stuff we will see. And the memories we will make!" She rattled.

I had just finished zipping my second suitcase when the doorbell rang indicating the last of our trio was here. Sonnie. I walked to the door but my Grandma beat me there. "Hello ms.grey, can I come in?" I heard Sonnie's voice ring in the foyer. "Of course you can! You're part of the family!" My grandma replied a little to chipper. A few seconds later Sonnie emerged from the hallway and set her one suitcase down. Sonnie could fit a years worth of clothes in two bags if she tried. She had that talent.

Sonnie hugged me and Macy. She barely spoke. Sonnie wasn't exactly a morning person like Macy. But thinking about it. I don't think anyone was as happy as Macy in the morning.

My grandma handed us steaming cups of coffee and left to go run on her treadmill. I finished gathering my stuff while Macy updated her Instagram page and Sonnie fell asleep on my couch.

About 25 minutes later me Sonnie and Becca piled into Macy's camaro and left for the airport. On the way. We stopped at Walmart like Macy had said, Starbucks for Sonnie, and a gastation where I could go pee. We were 30 minuets behind schedule but we made it. We boarded the plane just in time. And before we knew it we were thousands of feet in the air counting down the hours until we landed on unfamiliar territory. I played with the cords conecting my earbuds to phone. Until I slowly drifted off into a deep peaceful sleep.

I woke up when we were about to land. I look to my right and of course, Macy is buzzing with excitement and looking out the window. I look out with her. Green. I don't think I'd have ever seen so much green in my entire life. Looking down i saw shades of green I didn't even know existed. I looked over to Sonnie and she was still sleeping so I pulled her out of her sleep. Back into reality.

We got off the plane and found our luggage and sat down to hear Macy's plan of action. "Alrighty girls! Here we are. The amazon rainforest... Well er...almost" the airport was about 5 miles away from the actual start of the forest. Macy continued, "we are gonna have to call a taxi guy. And he's gonna have to take us here" she pointed to a dot on the map that was about as interesting as the rest. "Once we get dropped off there we will then walk to the hotel which is only a block away and check in." She dragged her finger along the map to the different dots as she spoke. "From there we will just settle in today and the fun begins tomorrow!" She sung the word "tomorrow" and giggled. "Okay then. Let's being our journey to the hotel were I can maybe get a bit more sleep in before noon." Sonnie groggily said. Me and Sonnie filed behind Macy felling like we could take on anything the amazon threw at us.
