Kei's POV
I sat there with wide eyes. "I... I can't. I have summer school.." I said, even though I wanted to go, more than anything!
"Well, what's your dream? What do you want to be when you grow up?" Jake asked.
"Um... Well, my dream has always been to be a singer/screamer for bands like yours.. Why?" I asked.
"Well, you don't exactly need an education for that! Andy dropped out of high school, it doesn't matter!" Jake said.
I thought about it. I'd have to leave home... I'd probably be kicked out... "What about my house? I'd be kicked out if I wasn't paying for it, I have a job that I'd have to quit..."
"Well... How attached are you to the house? Are you willing to move?" Jinxx asked.
"Well, yeah, sure, it's not like I've lived here my whole life or anything, but where would I move to? I wouldn't have enough money to pay the down payment on a new house, I barely have enough to pay rent as of now!" I said frantically.
"Maybe you could get a different job... Say, as the Black Veil Brides merch girl? I'm sure we'd pay much more than wherever you're working now!" Jake said.
"Oh my gosh... Okay. Okay, I'll definitely do it! Yes!" I said excitedly.
"Cool. Where do you work anyway?"
"Um... Fry's." I said.
"Nice. So, shall we start packing?" Jake said.
"Sure!" We started packing, Jake called CC and Andy to come help. By the end of the day, we were half-way done.
"Yeah, have a nice day, asshole!" I said through the phone, then hung up. "Ass.." I said, irritated.
"Who was that?" Ashley asked, walking in.
"My boss. I quit just now. He's a jerk." I explained.
He chuckled, then there was a knock at the door. I opened it to see my landlord. "May I help you?"
"Yeah, you can get the fuck out." He practically yelled.
"Excuse me?" He handed me an eviction notice.
"I said you can get out. You have 2 days."
"Make it one, asshole!" I tossed the paper back at him and slammed the door in his face. I stomped back. "Ugh, got an eviction notice, so I have to be out in two days, with you guys here, we should make it tomorrow, okay?" They nodded.
They spent the night that night, then helped me the rest of the way, and we were out. I dropped out of summer school, and the guys said I could stay with them in the tour bus.
We drove up to the tour bus, and I stared at it in awe. "Come on, I'll give you the tour!" Jake said, and led me inside. "Here's the living room area..." He led me through the kitchen, showed me where the bathroom was, then led me to the bunks. "And, these are the bunks. The one under mine is empty, so you can sleep there!" I went and set my bag on my new bunk.
"Thank you... Really, thank you. I don't think I could have survived staying at summer school." I chuckled.
"No problem. Anyway, call if you need anything." He said, and walked out.
I unpacked my bag, being sure to have my blades well-hidden, then came out to the living room where the guys were watching The Dark Knight. "Yay!!" I ran up and squeezed in between Jake and Andy on the couch, and watched.
"You a fan of Batman?" Andy asked.
"Well... Not to most people. I'm only a fan because of the newer movies, Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, and The Dark Knight Rises, but I'm a fan because of those movies!" I explained.
