When we get to the hospital, they brought him into the ER. I follow them but they don't let me go in with him. I noticed a bump on his head, but I think it is just a bump from him falling in the hallway at his house.

"Please, I wanna see what happens to him!" I say to the doctors.

"Ma'am, we can only have family with permission from the patient," the doctor tells me. Family. I can go ahead and tell a little lie.

"I am his half sister!"

"Sorry but you still need permission from him."

"Then get his permission!"

"G-Guys, it's fi-fine let her in," Jorel says. The doctors open the doors and rolls him in and I followed.

"Jorel are you okay? Are you going to be affected?"

"I don't know, Ava." With that, the doctors came in. They had me sit in a chair outside of his curtain for his surgery. Fair enough.

After the surgery, they let me back in. Jorel is still asleep. On the table next to the hospital bed, there is a plastic bag with 3 bullets in it. I wonder if they are his, I only heard a gunshot once. After a while of watching him sleep, I drift off to sleep.

I wake up to the doctors pacing in and out if the room. The heart monitor is still beeping, but ever so slowly.

"What's happening?" I ask.

"He has a weak heart! His heart gave out but we brought him back, but I don't know if we will be lucky next time!" The female doctor yelled, sounding scared. Another doctor, male, comes to me and crouches.

"We don't know how much time he has left, he had a brain tumor," he says. I feel my heart beat faster and faster with the thought that Jorel might die. I start bawling and I run to him and hug him. I rest my head on his stomach listening to his breaths. I got a lot of mascara on my face and on the bed. His breaths get faster and before I know it, the heart monitor takes a long beep. I look up and doctors are already working on him.

"We're not getting a signal, I repeat, no signal!" One of the doctors yell. Even more doctors come in and try to help him. They do CPR on him, they use a defibrillator, but nothing worked. They try one more time, and the heart monitor's sound changes. All I want to do is hear his voice in person one more time. His nice, soothing voice that I love so much, it can't go that easily. If he goes, I go.

Sorry about the short ass update, but I thought you guys might want a little more to read. Something really big is coming up, just trust me. I didn't get even close to my goal for this chapter, but I swear that the next one will be at least 1k words. Again, I'm sorry about the shortest update ever. Please forgive me >.<
