Everywhere I Go *Editing*

Chapter 14

As his hand begins to come out of his jacket, I scoot backwards and fall to the floor. He stands up to pick me up. He is so gentle with me. His eyes are a beautiful combination of red and blue. I snap out of it and struggle to get out of his grip.

He puts me back on the chair and pulls out a ring. A beautiful wedding ring. I didn't even know him. Do I know him?

"You forgot this," he said as he knelt onto one knee. What is happening? I don't even know him. Does he believe in love at first sight? I don't so I refuse!

"You probably wonder who I am," he says as I nod. He takes off his hat and reveals his short hair. It seems familiar.

I can't seem to take my eyes off of his. Oh dear god they are beautiful. The perfect blend of colors around the pupil.

He begins to remove the black bandanna from his face. It is all too familiar.

Aron.

"Aron what the hell are you doing?" I ask while I begin to move back.

"I've changed. I love you, Ava!"

"So what you've changed? It doesn't change what you did to me before!"

"That was the past."

"So? The past is still memorable!"

"Quit living in the past, Ava!"

"I'm not."

"If you say yes I may be able to get you out of here."

We walk down the hall with our fingers locked together. I had to say yes so I could get out of here. I was going to get rid of him as soon as I got home. I feel so bad doing this to him, but I guess he deserves it. The way he treated me before, I couldn't take it. 

I can't stand to see him cry again though. Yeah. I saw him cry the day I left him. I felt bad, but I had to leave him. It was for both of us to move on. Now look at us. Not even dating, but I was proposed to. 

He better not be expecting a child while we are trapped in here. I am not going to be that exposed to him ever again. I can't believe I ever even did that. It was so stupid of me. The way I fell asleep half naked and woke up fully naked and sore all over. He took advantage of me. I had to skip school until I felt better and there was no evidence of what he did to me. I still loved him, even after what he did. I decide to stop thinking about it.

He takes me outside, to a patio with glass all around it. There was a big hole in the side of the glass and blood all over that area.

"What happened here?" I ask him.

"My older brother smashed this window when he was trapped in here with his ex."

"But what about the blood?"

"His ex refused to get back with him, so he shot her."

"Where is he now?"

"He is actually the cook here now."

"Oh? Well I am hungry. Can we eat?"

"Sure thing, anything for you, beautiful."

It really seemed like he cared about me now. I can't let him take me back, though.

"Wait here," he mouths to me. I go to sit down on the couch until I see a ladder outside. I keep staring at it, and it seems like it goes up to the roof of here. I decide to go check it out. I get up to go out the door, but someone grabs me by my arm. What manners. I'm thrown back onto the couch. I stay there until Aron gets back. He comes back with a plate of meat and some Roma tomatoes. I am starving, so I eat up. The meat tastes different. Maybe it's deer meat or something. I don't care I need to eat.

When Me and Aron are done eating he gets up to wash the plates. He is not worried about me escaping. I sit back and relax. The meat wasn't settling too well. I hear yelling through a door. When angry, loud footsteps come up the stairs, I close my eyes and pretend to sleep. I look through my eye lashes and see who it is. Someone else is walking around the room I'm in. Aron follows. He comes back up with a black eye.

I'm not gonna be updating any other time this week or the next, the state testing is coming up. Not supposed to be on the internet right now but I wanted to update for you guys. If I can, I will try to update on the weekend. Enjoy:)
