Hey guys. Sorry I didn't update all summer. We have to turn in our laptops during summer and my personal laptop's charger literally snapped in half, so that's dead. School started again and everyone got a brand new laptop. This runs a bit faster than the old one. I definitely would have updated on my phone but the keyboard is laggy and small. My iPad was broken for a while but I found a way to fix it. The family desktop is downright too slow. It takes maybe 10-20 minutes just to open up a browser, let alone open a website. Anyway, I am going to make this chapter interesting and long. Enjoy:)

You're probably wondering why I said she was my sister. When I had both of my parents, they told me about a girl named Lana. They talked to me about her and eventually said she was put into a mental hospital. She had ran away many, many times and snuck out in the middle of the night to do illegal things with her friends.

I never thought anything of the night when she ran away and never came back. She didn't just run away. That was the night she did all of this. Aron opens the door and I jump. He sits on our bed and puts his head in his hands. I pretend I don't notice. It is really quiet in here. I begin to hear ringing in my ears so I break the silence.

"Aron? What happened down there?" I asked him. He shook his head. He got up and walked towards me. He grabbed my hand and pulled me up.

"Nothing you need to know. You wanna get out?" He asks. I thought he'd never let me out. I nod my head furiously. He laughs and puts his hand in his pocket. He grabs something and reveals a key. It looks like a car key. He looked at the door and back at me.

"Come with me." He said.  I walked with him to the room across from mine. There was a window in there. I run to it, making sure I didn't hit anything or make any noise. I look down from the window. It looks like a good 3 story drop. I have no idea how I was going to get out. I am deathly scared of heights. He joins me at the window.

"This is our only way out. Ready?" He asked.

"This is going to hurt. Is there a safer way?" He shook his head and grabbed a rope from under a dresser. He ties it to a door knob then ties it around my waist. I climb onto the window and he nods.

"Just walk backwards down the building. You'll be fine." I place a foot onto the wall and hear a door open. Yelling. We were caught. Aron looks out of the window and yells "DROP!" So I walk faster down the wall. He climbs onto the rope and slides down it with ease. Unaware of me being there, he bumps into me. The rope loosens up and I slip out. It must not have been too big of a drop but it felt huge. I hit the ground and groan in pain. Aron jumps off the rope and picks me up.

He runs with me in his arms to a shack in the middle of nowhere. He lets me down and I struggle to stay upwards. I slowly follow him and find him taking a licence plate off of a grey Sedan. I don't question him. I get into the passenger seat and tilt it back so my back doesn't hurt. He gets into the driver's side and pulls out. He avoids all the trees, barely hitting a branch. There are a lot of bumps that shoot pain up my spine into my head.

We eventually get to a road. It looks all the way empty. It looks like the road never ends.

"Where are we going?" I ask him.

"Nevada," he says firmly. I'm pretty sure that's at least a 10 hour drive. Unless I'm not anywhere close to home.

"Why Nevada?" I ask.

"I think you know why."

"To get away from here?" I don't know how he could know I read the letter from Lana. I put it away before he came into my room. I reached my hand to my back pocket to find that the letter and blade were both gone. I begin to panic.

"I know you read the letter. I'm not mad." Oh god. He knows. What if the letter fell out when I fell out of the window? The other guy might have found it and knows were going to Nevada. We're going to be caught again.

"Where is it though?"

"Didn't you put it in your back pocket?"

"I did but it's not there anymore." He slams on the brakes.

"YOU LOST IT?!" He sounds pissed. I don't blame him. I lost the note and I will be the reason of being caught if we are anyway.

"AVA RAGAN ANSWER ME RIGHT NOW!" He says and slaps me. As soon as he did it he looked guilty. I looked out the window and tried not to cry. I felt burning on my cheek. This was harder than he had ever slapped me before. God dammit, I can't even feel my cheek anymore.

"Ava I'm sorry. It's just that she was really special." I keep looking out the window and he drives. A few soft, slow tears slid down my face. He turned on the radio and put on a song. Save me. As soon as I heard the first part I remember her. She had snuck out of the house and brought her phone. I was just going through my Hollywood Undead playlist and she texted me.

She told me about how she was considering suicide. She got into a lot of detail and I tried to help her. I didn't know what to do, as I was only a little kid. She told me about visiting a place she hadn't seen, and she'll be back. She'll be happy. She told me not to tell our parents because they wouldn't let her be happy. I wish it would have happened a couple years later because I began to study suicide and realized what she was really talking about.

I begin to have flashbacks of what I saw of her. I loved her so much. The image of her on the shore of an ocean, blood traveling down her thighs, Her lifeless body just laying there. I'm done with this. I turn the song off as soon as the chorus comes on.

"Hey what was that for?" He yelled. I shook my head and said "Brings back too many memories." He shrugged and played some Twenty One Pilots. I went to one of their concerts not too long ago.

I wake up from what looks like an hour nap. Aron is filling the tank up with gas. He sees me sit up and opens the car to ask if I want anything. He goes in to pay for the gas and comes out with a personal pan pizza and coke for me. He tosses my stuff onto my lap and opens up his pretzel. you've never seen a man eat a pretzel so fast.

We get onto the highway and lights flash in the mirror. Shit the police are following us. What'd we do?

I cut this chapter off a little short because I'm in a hurry to find ways to hide a cracked screen. I was in a rush to get to 8th hour and accidentally closed my laptop hard on my stylus and it cracked a little part of the bottom of the screen and it's spread out in the middle of the screen. Right now I have a sticky note hiding the major part but it probably won't work that well for a while. I hope you enjoyed this chapter and if you have any idead for the screen, comment. Excuses for it and ways to hide it.
