Mika sat on a stool as Blake would babble nonsense about his trips around the world. Though he can't say he didn't care, but he was internally amazed with the detailed one-sided conversation he and Blake had. The Australian made sure to fully explain everything. The experience, Mika dreamt of it. The emotion, he felt it. The wonder, he imagined it.The blond adolescent suddenly noticed that the raven hair Blake has started to turn white, his red eyes also started to shift black, his pale skin starting to have a smooth light tan. "Blake? Why are you changing colors?" Mika spoke, cutting the Australian's obsession speech.
"Changing colors? That's ra-" Blake stopped as he finally noticed he was changing. "Oh... They're near."
"Near? They? Who? What the hell are you talking about?"
"You're lucky Mika that Blake happened to randomly pop up into this side of the city or else Ferid would have caught you." That was what they heard once the door opened and closed behind the one who entered. "How are you going to shake him off of your shoulders if you can't even predict that he was actually following you and you can't really escape his peripheral or even his principal vision?"
"(Y/n)?"
"(N/n)!"
"Wait hold on. You two know each other?" Mika's head snapped from Blake to (Y/n) and Blake again. "Why the hell are you changing colors?!"
"Relax." (Y/n) said as she strolled over to the Mika. "His disguise is molding." Blake now had blond hair and black eyes instead of the raven hair and red eyes, but he still wore the sentinel uniform. Now with the blond hair looking neater than his raven hair a second ago, he also saw Blake's ear.
"Disguise? What the hell? Why are his ears not pointed?"
"Calm down.. You don't take surprises as well as I thought you should be." She muttered.
"What is going on?"
"Ne. Mika." (Y/n) sat down across Blake and to the left of Mika. "How did you become a vampire?" The teen did not talk. He just stared at her with so much sad emotions.
"An eye for an eye huh?" She chuckled as she placed her elbows on top of the table. "Okay, I'll go first. You see, Mika... You and I aren't exactly different. I was turned just like you. I refused to drink human blood and I managed with the king's blood for eight years and counting." Mika's eyes widened, he was sure that Krul's blood would not be enough for him. "Remember this, Krul is just a third. My king is a first. His blood is stronger." She added as she knew what he was thinking. "I was turned when I was 12, a few months after I successfully helped my own friends to escape and decided to live with the King as I'm his pet."
"How?... How could you possibly successfully let your friends escape... How and why did you let him turn you?!"
"The passage was too high up for us, I was the only one strong enough to give them a boost. But there was no chance I would escape also." (H/c) strands fell to her face when she tilted her head down, her now dull (e/c) orbs were staring blankly at her hands as her forearms were against the edge of the table. "I was attacked. It was skilled, but if it weren't for my trump card I would have been dead from the first strike. The King served me his blood to remain his pet forever."
"Trump card?"
A smirk formed upon her lips as her eyes now twinkled with excitement, scaring Mika a bit. (Y/n) raised her right hand, Mika's eyes stared at it and he finally took sight of a white gold ring with a few sapphire and emerald gems on the top. The said jewels glowed in a greenish bluish aura and suddenly a staff appeared out of thin air, Mika gulped as a pointed tip of something poked his nose. (Y/n) slowly lowered the staff down and he took in its appearance.
