"What happened to you, Uncle Tenten?" (Y/n) asked as she gently caressed the right side of Tenri's face, her fingers dancing across the rough surface of his eyepatch. Her other hand was by his neck, or the mechanical construction on his neck.

"The virus did this to me. This helps me maintain my health."

"I'm sorry." (Y/n) whispered, her head lowered in shame. "I'm so sorry. I didn't know there would be a virus. I did--"

"Don't blame yourself." Tenri's voice boomed as if ordering her not to cry. "You could only predict so much. If you haven't warned me before hand, there wouldn't be such an organized society in this land."

"You're humanities last hope." She muttered sadly, sitting back on her chair. "I've traveled around the world. I've tried my best to create a revolution. I've met a lot of groups, independent and not basing their strengths on who gets to be the leader. I was able to rescue groups of children as well."

"(Y/n)." He cut her off, his eyebrow scrunched in reminiscence. "Were you responsible for those groups of children that claims to have escaped Sanguinem?"

"Yes." She bashful lay scratched her cheek. "Ehehe.. Sorry I wasn't able to warn you about it before hand."

"They are able to map out parts of Sanguinem. Each of them know a certain corner. It's like we have a few pieces of the puzzle and we still can't connect it."

"Yeah... I thought them that as well... Teamwork is really valuable, being able to draw out the plan with everyone's opinion."

"You're... A genius!" Tenri suddenly brought his hands up, squishing her cheeks together so her lips pouted in a cute way.

"I actually knew about there being an Imperial Army here in Japan, I didn't know you were the ultimate power here." (Y/n) chuckled softly, but she stopped when she remembered something. She stood up abruptly, her hands slamming on the mahogany table, Tenri lost hold of her cheeks when she did. Her eyes widened as they stared at the shocked one that stared back. "Oh no."

"What's? What's wrong?"

"Those children I left... Shit, if that Ferid even touched a single hair -- I'm gonna-- Argh!" Her hands were shaking with raw anger, her right fist slightly lifted up then her knuckles harshly knocked on the wood. "That Ferid is gonna be Fergone."

"(Y/n). What are you talking about."

She sighed before running her hand across her hair, closing her eyes for a moment. "I was actually here because the king sent me to investigate the vampire activities here in Japan. He's getting anxious because there's a part of the vampire society that rebels to the major higher ups. As usual, he uses me as his pawn. But he just doesn't know I'm doing something else." (Y/n) flopped back down on her seat again and tilted her head to look at the ceiling. "You know it's hard to keep the masks on when the string is desperately tied on the ends of its strands."

"Okay, so you're having trouble about keeping in your emotions and your plans. Then what does it have to do with Ferid being Fergone?" The General asked.

"As a pretending vampire, I hate the essence of vampires. And one of the most annoying vampires I have ever come across was that Ferid Bathory. He's such a sadist, but he's still weaker than me since he's just a Seventh Progenitor. But I just want to kill him because of his arrogance. Apparently, he has an idea where I keep my groups of children. So if I came back to see that he had done something to at least one of them, I would show no mercy."

There was a short silence, which made Tenri uneasy as he kept looking at (Y/n)'s face. Devoid of any emotion. "So.." He cleared his throat before continuing. "My army is the last shining hope of humanity? Are you sure? Because I could hardly believe that."
