"You seem acquainted with the head here." Dria stated as she had her cheek roughly pressed against her palm that slightly muffled her words.

"Yeah..." the half vampire hummed with no actual interest with whatever she said. She lifted up a cup to drink her tea.

Isrea picked up a magazine that was near her on the table to whack it against the back of (Y/n)'s head. In a rush, (Y/n) sipped up a lot of the hot tea and it rushed down her throat in a haste. After gulping the heat and bitter taste of the drink, she brought down the cup on the table. Her mouth opened and she released a pained sigh, there was even steam coming past her lips.

She whipped her head to look at the blonde commander next to her. A vicious look on her face, her lips pulled back to form a snarl deep from her throat. (Y/n)'s fangs, the narrowed pupils and the accompanying glare were something that came out of a prey's nightmare.

"Don't look at me like that." Isrea pouted and bopped a finger against the tip of (Y/n)'s nose. "No matter what you are, I feel as if you're never a threat."

A weird noise that was supposed to be a snicker, somehow lifted up the tensed mood hanging in the atmosphere. "You are an idiot."

"You are one as well." She countered. "We became friends for a reason."

"How would you know?" (Y/n) sassily raised an eyebrow and challenged her. "What if I befriended you because I pitied you?"

"You have no pity." Isrea suddenly spat and popped the 'p' of pity which made her look a little stupid doing so. "No mercy." Prolonging the 'e' and ringing the 'r'. "Heartless and selfish!"

(Y/n) sighed and shook her head, rubbing the spot where Isrea hit. "You hit me and then you tell me I'm heartless."

"We were curios as to why the Top here is speaking so fond of you like his own daughter." She rolled her eyes. "And then you answer is a 'yeah'?"

"You could have asked then." The half vampire grumbled underneath her breath. "Like use 'what', 'why', or 'how'." The two friends just stared at her with a blank look. "It was eight years ago, a year after I 'became a vampire'. I was fourteen back then." She started.

'This isn't Russia...'

A girl put as much distance as possible between her and the crash landed plane. A squeak coming past her lips when the giant junk of metal exploded and the momentum made her roll on the asphalt, her back soon hitting a bent lamppost. She winced in slight pain as she coughed from the inhalation of smoke coming from inside the plane.

"(Y/n)." She heard her name being called.

"Sergio..." (Y/n) coughed, struggling to stay still in a sitting position.

"There are humans near by. Quickly, summon me."

She inhaled sharply before spreading her right arm outward, a staff four times her height appeared. A long staff, on the bottom end had a spear while the top had a glowing lotus. It was made of gold and so is the spear. The handle had a curve to protect the hand and it had spikes with tips of blue diamonds. The lower part of the spear had a few vines twirled around and the upper part had more spikes with blue diamond tips. The lotus was of different colors, emitting a blue aura from the outer to the inner petals, it was black, brown, brownish red, maroon and violet. In the middle of the lotus had a floating green orb.

The green orb released a green mist and it swirled along with the blue aura. (Y/n) breathing was now a little patterned and rhythmic as she lay the staff on her lap. Her canines were shifting back to normal size and her skin started to have their color. Her ears were now normal than their usual slightly pointy ends.
