Ben's POV:

Hi! I am Benjamin Ripley. I am 12 and is going to a new boarding school named St Smithins Academy for Girls and Boys. My parents say it is a good opportunity to show off my only skills: Math. Really high-level Math. I could do equations that a calculator and a computer can calculate. I'm a nerd and a dork as you can see and only have one friend named Mike who is actually quite smart and popular ironically. I have a crush on Elizabeth Pasternak though I have no chance with her because she is the most popular girl in our school, and I think Mike and her are already a thing. Anyway enough of my backstory. Let's hope this new school won't be so bad as I think.

Time Skip...

As I get dropped off by my tearful parents, I look at the school and decided to resent it or not. It looked like it could have been popular in World War 2 or something with its old look, trying to copy colleges like Oxford and Harvard but failing terribly. I decided to ignore it though because one of the most honored graduates of the school, Alexander Hale said that there was more to what met the eye. As I'm about to get to my dorm room I bump into a girl who mutters "Watch where you're going!" As I gather my stuff and about to make a nasty come back due to my cranky mood I stopped myself as I looked at her. She was absolutely gorgeous and suddenly my feelings for Elizabeth dissolved in a snap. I wanted to apologize but she left as quick as light. I decided I could catch up to her in a later time since I still needed some packing to do.
When I arrived at my dorm room my excitement was burst like a deflated balloon. It was so small it was smaller than what my dog got when we would vacation and it was freezing cold. But Alexander's (my tour guide and supposed legend) words echoed in my mind:
"There is more than what meets the eye."
Well, I'm still new here I can do this. Today could be the day when my life changes.

And boy was I right...
