Jacob woke up after a couple hours and sat up on one elbow, rubbed his eye and yawned. Then pulled himself up just enough to look in Matt's bed. "Hey Matt..." Matt was still in his bed with his hands under his head.

"What's up?" Matt said in reply.

"Well, getting up would be a start for the day." He slid back down to get out of his sleeping bad, but when he tried to get up he banged his head under Matt's bed. "AGH!" He fell back on his pillow clutching his forehead. "Ahhh...!"

"Jacob!" Matt flipped over the side of his bed and clutched onto the side hanging his head over it. "Are you ok?!"

Jacob groaned. "Yeah... I'm ok..."

He sat up more carefully this time and swung his feet off the bed and too the floor and stood up. Jacob had a major bed head. His blond hair was frizzing and stood up all over the place. He stretched and turned around. "So, now what?"

Matt jumped down from his bed. "I think breakfast."

There was a long pause as they both stared at each other.

"... LAST ONE DOWN HAS TO EAT THE DOG FOOD!" They yelled in unison as they both sprinted down the hallway and to the stairs. Jacob pushed Matt out of his way. "Hmph. HEY! That's not fair!" Jacob just laughed at him. Matt bolted up and jumped down the steps, two at a time. When they were caught up with each other, Matt pushed down Jacob. "Hey! Cheater!"

"It's not cheating. It's pay back!" Matt ran and got there first, Jacob close by. "Man, this blows. I'm not eating dog food," he complained.

"Yes you are."

"No. I'm not."

Matt had already got out the food and had a spoon full. "Eat it." Jacob kept his mouth shut tight. "Alright. If you won't do it willingly, then I'll make you do it. You lost fair and square." Jacob shook his head just as Matt's mom came in the kitchen.

"Matt!" His mom yelled.

"Sorry..."

"Matt, don't eat the dog's food. It's not good."

"I wasn't going to eat it. Jacob was."

"Uh, no. No one is!"

"Fine..."

"Now put that back and go eat. I've got food out there already." The two boys ran out and saw pancakes on the table.

"You're lucky."

"I know." Jacob grinned.

Matt grabbed the pancakes first. "Hey! Give 'em up!" Matt looked down to see him cross armed and frowning. Being 6'2 had it benefits. "Fine." He set them down and Jacob grabbed them and ran out. They both ate, got changed, grabbed the bikes and headed out for ride to the town. They set their bikes down after they found a shop to look around. "Not bad," Jacob said.

They walked towards the front door and Matt saw a man staring at them, glaring almost. 'That's not creepy at all...'  They got inside and went by the window. When he looked back outside, the man was gone as if no trace of him was there.
