"Hey" Lakaysha said walking up to me. The bell for lunch had just rang, and we where already on our way to the cafeteria. "Hey, can you believe that Harry got transferred into our class?!" I exclaimed. "I mean, he's so perfect. I know that sounds really weird, but there is something about him that I just can't grasp." I continued. She was just as excited as I was. We had already made it to our seats and put our purses down.
We where waiting in line when I spotted Harry with his four friends. I couldn't help myself but stare. I watched him laugh and talk, when suddenly I was being talked to. "Hello, wait can I get you today?" the lunch lady asked. I told her what I wanted and got my food and waited for Lakaysha to get hers.
On the way back to the table I couldn't find him. I told myself that he's probably in the bathroom or library. We got to the table and I nearly dropped my food. The next table over was where he was sitting. Lakaysha looked at me wide eyed and quickly sat down. I couldn't believe he was siting right next to us, he normally walked around. I couldn't help but smile and look at Lakaysha.
"Do you have you Physics homework from last night?" I asked finally making conversation. "I didn't finish mine and I can't afford to have my grade going any lower than it is" I continued. "No, sorry I left it in my locker" she said. Her eyes got wide and not even 2 seconds later I felt a tap on my shoulder. Before I could turn around I heard a deep, raspy voice. "Hi, I'm sorry to but in, but I overheard you asking about Physics homework?" He said. My heart stopped and felt like it was in my throat. I slowly turned to see those green orbs capturing my blue ones, his nest of curls layed there on his head. Perfection I thought.
I realized I hadn't replied. What had he asked again I thought. Oh right, physics homework. "Uh,umm" I couldn't find my words, nothing was coming out. "I, uh" why won't anything come out?! "Yes, yes she was asking about it" Lakaysha finally answered for me. Great I thought, he probably thinks I'm freaking mute. "Yeah, umm that's what I was asking" I finally said. "Oh, well I have mine. Would you like to borrow it?" He asked. "My name is Harry." He said holding his hand out for it to be shaked. "I'm Libby, and this is Lakaysha." I said shaking his hand, with was really firm and strong. "Hi." He said while showing off his perfect teeth and those adorable dimples. "So do you need the homework?" He asked again. "Are you sure?" I asked uncertain. "Of course, I would be my pleasure." He said.
He gave me his physics homework and went back over to his table. Lunch had finally ended, me and Lakaysha walked back to class. I quickly copied down his homework and quietly but quickly snuck over to where he was seated. I tapped his arm and as he turned and faced me his curls bounced. He looked down at me, " yes?" He asked. "Here" I said and handed him the paper. "Thank you" I continued. I turned around and went back to my seat before he could see me blush.
I didn't see him the rest of the day. School had ended and I got home and nearly fell to the floor.
