"Hey" Lakaysha said walking up to me with a big grin on her face.
"Oh hey, what's up?" I ask with excitement.
"You plus Me equals beach today! I heard they were going to be there!" She says with excitement evident in her voice.
I furrow my brow and stare at her with uncertainty of who she is talking about.
"Who" I ask curiously.
She stares at me like I had just lost my memory or got hit in the head.
"Niall, Harry and the rest of their friends!" She squeals
My eyes go wide, finally putting the pieces together.
"Do you know what this means?!" I ask.
"This means shopping time!" I squeal.
After school, we head to the mall and find a little shop selling swimsuits. I go for the pink with black polka dot bikini with a bow in the front of the top. Lakaysha goes for a blue, glittery bikini. We head back to my place and try them on. I put shorts and a floral crop top on. Lakaysha puts on white shorts with a plain baby blue top. I pull my hair into a messy bun and slip on my converse. Lakaysha grabs her black toms and slip them on and puts her hair into a bun and pin back her bangs. Grabbing my keys we are out the door.
The beach was packed today. Which it's totally understandable with 85 degree weather. We finally find a parking spot and find a spot on the beach. We lay out our towels and kick off our shoes, feeling the warm sand inbetween our toes. We peel of our clothes and let them pool to the sandy surface, showing off our new bikinis.
"Hey, I'll be back, I'm going to get us some drinks. What do you want?" Lakaysha asks.
"Water will be fine." I say and she's already walking away.
I relax and finally lay down closing my eyes, soaking up the sun.
The feeling of that summers sun on my pale skin felt amazing. Finals where nerve wrecking, and I just had to get out of the house. Thank god Lakaysha had invited me out to the beach to relax and hangout. The beach was the hangout for all the teens. I'm off in my own world, waiting for Lakaysha to return, when I get hit in the head with something. I open my eyes to people surrounding me. Did I black out? What happened? "Are you okay" I hear him say. I know that voice from anywhere, it was....Marcel.
