Pea's POV

I walked through the guild doors, seeing everyone exactly where they should be. Even the three idiots. I walked to the front, my cape waving behind me. I winced a bit as pain shot up from my hand, through my arm. I shouldn't have smashed that table.. But I needed something to smash or else I would've killed someone or tear down the guild by accident. I cleared my throat as I waved my hand and the tables all turned into maps.

"As you all know, our guild and a dark guild have gone to war, therefore we must make plans. Our objective is to wipe them out. You will be attacking by air. Use your magic to fly or use the airships. You will attack any enemy in sight when someone is having a difficult time." I declared, pointing to the air-fighting squad. "Long ranged weapon users, stray from afar, shooting the enemies in places where you cannot be seen, or if needed join the hand to hand combat. Sword wielders, do what you do. Chop down every enemy in sight. Hand to hand combat soldiers, assist any of the gunners or sword wielders." I explained, the groups all assembled on the maps. I was about to continue until I was interrupted.

"What about us?" The brunette asked.

"The new recruits need more training. They will assist in only worst-case scenarios." I explained.

"We can do better things than that! We can assist you in battle in best-case scenarios as well!" The brunette exclaimed. I stared at him with a blank face, unable to read.

"If you are willing to have a chance to die, then so be it. But are you really up for it? You may see the ones you're close to die right in front of your eyes. You yourself might even die. And if we lose this war, and you're the only one left, would you still be able to fight?" I asked, my expression serious as I stared into his eyes. He had a look of doubt, but that doubt turned into determination.

"Well, that's what being a hero is, right? All these deaths will motivate me to avenge them." He said with courage. I smiled.

"Then, thanks to Axel the new recruits may go into battle with us. I said, the new recruits appearing on the maps. "One problem. None of you have chosen which squadron you wish to join." I said calmly. "That means you all will have to choose by today to continue our battle plan." I explained. "We will discuss the rest of the plan later when all the new recruits have decided." I finished, waving my hand once more, causing the maps to disappear. I then walked out into the ranch, training there. I need to activate my powers on command. I tried to imagine myself in my healing form. I opened my eyes to see that nothing happened. I then tried to trigger it somehow, with emotion or how I felt when I had to run from home. I couldn't feel anything. I built my walls too high, too thick. Only rage, hatred, and getting flashbacks of my past can break through these walls, and unless I see someone I love dying once more, my walls will forever be thick and unbreakable. I sighed in frustration and just did some basic training.

"Corp- I mean Pea!" I heard someone yell while bursting out of the guild. I stopped my training. I turned to see the brunette, Axel. I arched my brow, seeing a glint of fear in his eyes. "L-Lyon.." Was all he said for me to charge through the guild doors and see Lyon, an evil look in his eye with almost everyone on the floor, severely injured. The only people standing were the top rank soldiers, including Axel.

"Lyon, what the heck are you doing you idiot!" I yelled, my green eyes flashing with anger to see my comrades, my family, hurt and their bodies sprawled on the ground. Lyon didn't reply. Instead he morphed into a giant wolf, rushing towards me. I stood still, my eyes fixed on the white wolf with eyes as red as blood. When he was about to strike, I took out my sword and slashed through his head. Instead of blood, out came golden flakes. The wolf then disappeared, Lyon standing behind it. "I thought you knew that I already know of your illusion magic Lyon." I said calmly, Lyon having no facial expression, and continuing to throw illusions at me, like as if he didn't hear me at all. I slashed through each and every one, knowing something was up. At the last illusion I slashed through, I saw Axel and Jade on the ground. I could see Axel's chest moving, indicating he's fine, but I didn't see any movement from Jade. I rushed towards her, ignoring Lyon's illusions as the others standing took care of them. I checked for a heartbeat, tears starting to well up. "Come on Jade, you idiot!" I yelled, trying to stop the bleeding that was coming from her stomach and chest. She didn't move at all, her eyes plastered open with a look of fear in her now dull eyes. I cried and cried, screaming and pounding the ground, not noticing that the rest were taken out with me crying over Jade. I got up slowly, still crying. A yellow glow formed around my body as this sadness turned into anger, and as this happened I started to float. My hair turned blonde and grew to my knees, feathery white wings sprouted from my back as my clothes turned into a white and red combat dress, and I could feel my powers surge through my veins and blood pulse. A golden bow and arrow appeared in my hands as I felt it's magical power. I took aim at Lyon and released the arrow, gradually getting bigger and glowing a bright yellow as it went closer to him. Once the arrow struck Lyon, a white light blinded me.

I slowly opened my eyes, only to see stone. I stood up and looked around. Stone. Everything I saw was stone. I heard some echoing voices from down the stone corridor. I stood up, still in my magic form, except with all my weapons gone. My whole body ached as I walked towards the stone door, shuffling on the cobblestone floor, my hand lightly touching the cold stone wall. I wasn't kidding when I said everything I saw was stone. There wasn't even a bed or anything. Just a stone room. I budged the door open, stumbling into the corridor. I walked slowly to two shadowed figures with black cloaks, my fists clenched ready to fight. Once the two figures turned around, my eyes widened and my hands fell to my sides. It was Jade and Axel. How did I even end up here? The first minute I'm taking down Lyon, and the next I'm in this building to see that Jade is alive with no injuries, along with Axel! I then realize how stupid I am and face palm. Jade can control nature and heal herself automatically, even if she's out cold, and Axel can also create illusions. That's how they escaped. I look straight at them and nod, indicating them that I know what happened and how they escaped. They nod back and I walk further into the corridor behind Jade and Axel. They lead me to a different room, once again entirely stone. I didn't go out of my magic form yet, because I knew something, no someone dangerous was kept in this room. We walked in, seeing Lyon in a capsule, knocked out cold. I walk close to Lyon and inspect him. Checked his heartbeat, breathing, behavior, and magic levels. His heartbeat was faster than usual, with his breathing extremely heavy. His behavior seems normal for now, and his magic levels are going all over the place. I raise my brow as I see his heartbeat going faster by the second. His eyes blast open and he smashes the capsule. I grab air, a failed attempt to grab my sword to swing at Lyon. Instead Lyon holds me down to the ground with incredible strength that I've never seen before. I take a quick glance to where Jade and Axel were standing. Jade was slowly walking towards me with a smirk with Axel having a shocked look. Jade pulled out a gun and pointed it out to my head. Axel tackled Jade to the ground, the gun flying out of her hand. I kicked Lyon in the stomach, which would usually work but he didn't react at all. Instead he smirked as he dug his hands into my stomach.

"Die for me, won't you Pea?" Lyon smirked, my eyes half-lidded as the world slowly faded away. The last few things I heard, a gun shot, a scream, and a laugh..
