Gracie- The Halloween Party

Chapter 2

Lily was short and thin, had short black hair and was the school's biggest bitch. Even above Brooke. Luckily Makenna didn't have to live with Lily because their parents got divorced but Lily probably thinks this is payback for whatever Makenna's dad did wrong. It was Friday- the day before the party and Lily was nowhere to be found. We were all going to confront her but she must have found out we all knew now. For some reason we were still going to the party because we can all be strong. Kyle was in the back of the line for lunch and looked depressed i think he knows now too. "Hey Braylon what if it wasn't her" i asked quietly so the rest couldn't hear. She shook her head in disbelief but there was a moment of hesitation. That night I couldn't sleep very well thinking about poor Makenna and the rest of the group and how much they're helping her and how nice it all is. I woke up Saturday morning to Braylon, Maddi, and Calleigh braiding different sections of my long blonde hair. I was shocked at first. "We just wanted to give you some company." Maddi said in a calming voice. I nodded and went to get breakfast for them. Finally. It was 8:00pm, time for Kyle's party to start.
