" Jeremy?" His mom called out softly into his door.
" Mom I'm fine you need to stop worrying okay!" He says angrily at her.
Nothing
Jeremy it's your fault, you should have told her you loved her! Why?
He is trapped in his thoughts again. He doesn't realize that he hasn't even read the note/letter she wrote him. It's been sitting nicely in his dresser since "That day."
Jeremy get up from his bed quietly walking to his door to see if his mom is still there. He hears crying.
"Mom? Are you okay?" He asks softly hoping she will say yes.
"Yes dear just worried like always, I am your mom you know." She states trying to sound as happy as possible.
"Mom even if you tell me your okay, I know your not, but I'll just leave you to yourself then."
I walk back to my bed, lay down and stare up at the glow in the dark stars and planets on my ceiling, they've been there since I was a kid.
"Mom?" I call out to see if she's still there.
No answer.
I get up again and look under my door, she's not there anymore. I open the door and walk to the kitchen slowly and grab a box of cereal and the carton of milk, then go back upstairs.
My mom knows it's hard for me, I mean I lost my best friend, what she doesn't know is that I LOVED HER!
"Jeremy?" I hear a soft voice, "her" voice. I jump up and open the door and she's in front of me.
"Oh my god!!" I cry out.
"Jeremy, you need to stop thinking its your fault, it's not your fault." She says making my vision blur with more tears.
