Little Space Family

Chapter 4

It was insane!! A month has already passed by since Ezra had been turned into a baby due to the invented and disgusting drink; all of the crew had taken to their rolls happily. Kanan had turned into a dad. Hera a mum. Zeb and Sabine as the child's siblings. Kenobi and Rex as uncles. And Ahsoka as a cousin. All was perfect....but this was the Ghost crew we were taking about, as as well all know, perfect never lasts long. The ship was silent as all members were fast asleep - it was near midnight - and Ezra had managed to climb out of his crib....again!! He had crawled all around the ship with his lothcat as he was as quiet as a mouse; the boy soon discovered an open box which contained....Sabine and Ahsoka's chemicals!! The same chemicals that they had added to a certain drink that could turn people into babies!! Ezra, being a curios baby that had no one supervising him, grabbed at the bottled chemicals and began to drink some of each; they held a horrid taste so when he didn't like one, he'd move onto another. Suddenly, Ezra threw up the continence of his supper and the chemicals; he felt...strange. This lasted for a few more minutes. 

Once minute Ezra was a baby and the next...he was a fifteen year old kid!! "Uhh...what in the force just happened??" he wondered quietly as the boy rubbed his forehead; Ezra couldn't remember much - no!! Wait....he was in the bathroom....throwing up from that drink...that horrible drink that Sabine and Ahsoka had invented....and now he was in the kitchen completely naked....hold up, completely naked!! He did notice a small ripped up fabric next to him but ignored it-; bigger issues!! Eyes wide, Ezra shot up and silently rushed to his own cabin and changed into his pajama shorts and top...which were stored away for some reason?? Ezra felt his extreme tiredness hit him all at once so, feeling all of his previous energy drain from his body, he crawled into his bed and allowed his body to drift off to sleep. He'd ask questions tomorrow when he had a clear and focused mind...maybe after some training. Yeah, he'd do some training after breakfast, maybe go for a run as they were on Lothal and visit his own tower; he could go visit Old Joe too!! He made his plans in his dreams that were surprisingly not full of night terrors.

 All too soon, the next morning arrived; everyone but Kanan and Ezra were already up and in the common room. The Jedi did eventually arise from his bed however and instantly noticed the missing baby; Kanan hurried to change into his clothes - it didn't help that he couldn't find his shoes - and tied his hair up with a green hair tie before leaving his cabin. He guessed, as well as hoped, that Hera had taken child with her as she did whenever Ezra had woken up with her - she was the first one up in a morning after all and didn't want her baby boy to wake her boyfriend up. "Morning guys, is Ezra with any of you??" the man asked as he entered the common room; they all shook their heads which was worrying "he got out of his crib again??" Sabine asked - last time they had found him curled up in the corner of the docking bay. "Don't worry, he couldn't be far" Hera stated, although she was fighting her own concern "we're still in flight so he's on the ship still". 

All of a sudden, the doors swished open and in strolled Ezra....wait, Ezra?! A teenage Ezra Bridger?! "Morning guys" he greeted as he approached the kitchen area; he stopped and turned to everyone as none of them had greeted him back, all just staring with wide eyes "guys?? You okay??" he held a raided brow, clearly confused. "E....Ezra??" Ahsoka was the first to speak in complete disbelief "em...yeah??" he lent against the counter top "what's up with you guys?? You're acting like you've seen an Inquisitor" the teen asked. Kenobi decided to speak up this time "em...nothing" he sat up straight "Ezra...what's the last thing you remember??" he asked cautiously; the youngest teen thought for a moment as he was still in the 'just woke up' state. "...Puking in the toilet thanks to that disgusting drink...Hera left to go get somethings to help but...she never came back" he felt confused "next thing I know, I was in the kitchen on the floor...surrounded by some bottles...practically naked" the last part was embarrassing. Ezra could see his team mates were in their own little worlds so he just grabbed a bottle of water and an apple "I'm going to go do some training so...I'll be in the docking bay if you need me" he doubted any of them heard him so he just walked out. 

Once gone, Sabine spoke "Ezra must have got his hands on the chemicals...they were on the floor earlier over there" she pointed in the direction of where they once where before she had put them away "and he must have drank them and turned back into a teenager" Ahsoka finished. All were silent, trying to process everything "...is it bad that none of us wanted Ezra to turn back??" Zeb asked - none of them know the answer to that question; they all shrugged "I guess we just....carry on like before" Hera stated "we get rid of all of the baby stuff". Kanan spoke up as he snapped out of his trance "we pretend that none of this ever happened....Ezra must never know of what has happened during the last month" they all knew that was easier said then done. The crew slowly agreed with sadness 'life is going to be a whole lot different now' was their main thought.
