I wake up this morning with three things in my mind, one, I hate myself, two, I hate myself, and third, I hate myself. At least I don't have the 'you're worthless go die' thought this time.
Today I had to go start a new school. Yay, fun! I already a have a prediction for what's going to happen; I possibly make one friend, obviously the person who gets bullied most, and then have all their bullies start bullying me. That's usually how it works when I start new schools.
This time I'm not going to tell everyone I'm gay in order to avoid as much bullying as possible. Why is this world full of homophobic douche bags? That, I will never know.
By this point my snooze has gone off three times so I should probably get out of bed and take a shower.
Now that I've showered I have to pick an outfit. Ugh. There might be puddles, so I should wear converse instead Toms, then I guess I'll wear black skinny jeans and a Green Day shirt to help stay on the down low. Sounds good.
Looking over at the clock I can see that I have to go now, so I quickly play with my hair a bit and run out the door.
The school is a half hour walk from here so I do take the bus. Looks like the only people who get on at the same stop as me, both red heads.
Both of their heads look like carrots.
I decide to stand a bit further from them and look down a little in the hopes they wouldn't notice me.
"Hey, are you new here?" The one with the brightest hair says, I just nod in response. "Well I'm Alan, and this is my friend Matty." He points over at the boy beside him who just keeps looking at his feet
"I'm Kellin." I let out a little laugh. I don't know why that guy wants to talk to me, but whatever.
The bus pulls up dragging me out of my thoughts before anything else could be said. Matty and Alan get on the bus before me, taking the only empty seat left. Shit. I quickly jump down beside the first person I see to not have there backpack on the other side of the seat from them and their headphones in (don't be that person).
The bus has been going for about five minutes now, and I can see the school. The school is very big, made of brick, and has an underground level(pfft not describing my brothers school).
The bus stops, letting us all get out. I decide to wait until all the chaos died down, so I am the last to get off the bus. Now that I'm out, I see the same two gingers from before looking at me.
"Hey, Kellin, right?" Matty asks, I just nod in response, "well you're new here so I'm making it my mission to make you feel welcome to our school." He exclaims.
"Oh, what fun!" I sarcastically whisper under my breath, but they just smile.
"What class do you have first, and do you need to go get a locker?" Alan jumps in.
I sigh, "well, I have my schedule, I start in Mrs. Green's room. However, I don't have my locker."
Alan grabs my wrist and starts pulling me inside, "okay, the office is right there," he points to a big door, "you go get your stuff and we'll meet you right here. We both start in the same room, but Matty doesn't. I'll help you find your locker once you know where it is." He smiles.
I'm not going to object any help, though I rather just do this by myself. I open the office door, making sure to be quiet, "hey, my name is Kellin Quinn, I'm new here."
The lady turns around and smiles, "ah yes, just one second, I'll get your stuff." She types something on the computer and copies it down on a piece of paper. "Do you need me to print out your schedule?"
