Chapter 3: Exploring

I woke up and realized that Matt was gone. Where did he go? Today I was planning on walking around, meeting people, and just getting to know where everything is. It was time for breakfast so I walked out of my room, and asked a guard where to go.

"Um where is breakfast?" I asked him.

"It's down the hall and to your right in room 16. Whats your name, I don't think we have met." he said.

"Meghan." I said with a smile. He seemed nice. "Whats your name?" I asked back.

"Bryant." he said and shook my hand. I smiled at him and started to walk down the hallway. It only took me a few seconds to reach the door and I walked in. I finally get to see who else is here. I opened the door and I immediately saw 10 boys, three of those being Nash, Aaron, and Matt.

I walked over to Matt and took a seat next to him. I didn't know the names of the people who he was sitting with.  

"Aren't you gonna go get something to eat?" Matt said.

"No I'm not very hungry." I said.

"I was like that too when I was first brought here. By the way, my name is Hayes." a boy with bright blue eyes and brown hair said. He looked kind of like Nash. "And yes I am Nash's brother." he said almost like he was reading my thoughts. Creepy.

"My name is Meghan." I said to him with a smile. He smiled back.

"OH I completely forgot that I was going to introduce you to everyone!" Matt said happily. "Hey everyone come over here!" he yelled and everyone started to walk towards us. "Everyone, this is Meghan!" he said. Everyone smiled and waved at me, but one guy caught my eyes. He was tall, looked strong, had shorts brown hair, and beautiful brown eyes, and-

"Meghan, this is Nash,"

"Hi!" Nash said as he waved to me.

"This is Carter"

"Wassup." Carter said.

"This is Aaron." 

"We have already met." Aaron said with a smile.

"This is Hayes." 

"We met too." Hayes said.

"This is Taylor."

"How's it goin?" Taylor said with a smirk looking me up and down.

"Taylor! Stop being a perv!" Nash said and everyone laughed.

"This is Cameron." Cameron just waved at me with a small smile. He looks sad. I wonder why.

"This is Gilinsky."

" My name's Jack but everyone calls me Gilinsky." Gilinsky said.

"This is Johnson."

"I am also Jack, but everyone calls me Johnson." Johnson said.

"And last, this is Shawn." he said. That was the guy who caught my eye. I gotta remember his name.

"Hey." he said with a little wave and a little smile. He seems like the shy type, and I like that.

"Well that's everyone, and you already know who I am, so welcome!" he said with a smile.

"Thank you! It's nice to meet all of you!" I smiled towards all of them.

"It's free period!" a guard yelled. This is my chance to look around and talk to some of the guys more.

I walk out and everyone goes their separate ways. I decide to walk down another hall and I see a big room filled with games and just random things to do. I keep walking and I see a door with the words 'Jobs' on it. I will keep that in mind. 

I realized that almost every hallway has at least one bathroom in it, so that's good. I keep walking, and I see Cameron walk into  what looks like a library.

"Hey! Wait up!" I say/yell to him, but he just looks at me and keeps going. I quickly run to him and I catch up.

"Hey!" I say to him while I am breathing a little heavier. I really need to work out more. He just looks at me and smiles.

"What's up with you?" I ask.

"Nothing. Nothing you need to worry about." he said and walked over to a bookcase and browsed thought the books.

"Well I wanna know. Even though we don't really know each other that well, I wanna try and help." I say.

"It's nothing."

"It's obviously something."

"Can you leave me alone, please."

"Not until you tell me what's up."

"Okay, fine. But you have to come talk to me in my room. It's 123. Go there at 7:00 PM sharp and we will talk." he said. I looked at a clock and saw it was 6:30 PM. 

"Ok, it's a deal." 

"Ok see you then." he said with a smile and walked out of the library. To pass the time, I find an old magazine and start to read it.

7:00

I finished the magazine and walked to his room since it was right down the hallway. I knocked on the door, and he pulled me in. 

"So now can you tell me whats wrong?" I asked.

"Nothing is wrong." he said with a smile.

"But you looked so sad."

"I did that to get your attention. I just wanted to get to know you a little better, that's all."

"Well it worked." I said and we both laughed.

"So your name is Meghan?"

"Yeah."

"And how long are you in here for Meghan?"

"I don't know, they didn't tell me. What about you?"

"I'm not sure either."

"How old are you?" I asked him.

"17, you?"

"16."

"Cool." he said.

"Lights out!" the guard yelled.

"Well I better be going back to my room, I'll talk to you tomo-"

"You can just stay in here. There's an extra bed. Only I am in this room."

"Oh, ok I guess I can stay here." 

"Oh good." he said with a smile. "Goodnight, Meghan."

"Goodnight Cameron."

Now she knows everyone and pretty much knows her way around. By the way, I am going to make them around 16 so they aren't too old or too young (Hayes and Cameron), so I just thought I should tell you that.
