Shane's POV
As I buried Austin's body I cursed him. "You are so f*cking stupid. I told you she was mine." I piled the dirt on after i dumped his body in and walked back to the house. I looked around the backyard smiling. I'd have to bring her out here. She would love it. I know she will.
I opened the back door, "Erin I'm home!" I heard her crying but I couldn't go to her because I was stopped by men in black. Like literally the SWAT team. How had they found us? As they brought me outside I saw her crying and Josh beside her. Oh that's why she's crying, that a$$hole is here. She doesn't want him, she wants me. I always knew. "Don't worry baby I'll be back. I'll see you soon. Don't let him touch you, you are mine, remember. I'll be back soon." She turned her back to me and I felt my heart break.
Josh whispered something to her and his lips found hers. I growled and took to agents down and went after them. She hid him behind her. She loved him and not me. No! I grabbed her neck and started chocking her. But I didn't get far because I was hit by five bullets. But I saw in her eyes that one went through me and into her. I fell to the ground and let a single tear moist my cheek.
I love you Erin. I always will. I'm sorry I couldn't keep you safe from Josh. I'm sorry I poisoned your mother and father so I could be with you. I'm sorry I left you all alone.
With that I let myself slip into oblivion. I was gone and she was to.
